Nobody has ever looked as sad as you did at the Survivor reunion last night.

Did I look sad?

You looked incredibly sad. It looked like you were tearing up.

Yeah, it was tough. It's hard when you play that hard.

As hard as you did play, is there any part of you that thinks Natalie deserved to win?

Nope. Not at all. I was there and I've seen what she did, and it was nothing.

But, arguably, the person who deserves to win is the one who convinces the jury to vote for them.

The game of Survivor is supposed to be outwit, outlast, outplay, not the social game. Everybody says, "The social game! Oh, she's so good at the social game!" Well, weigh it out. Can she outwit me? Can she outplay me? But OK, she's good at the social game. She might have made one move. She says - she thinks she convinced everybody to vote out Erik. Well, that didn't happen. If she's that naive, she's crazy. You don't get people to vote somebody out in five minutes like she thinks she did. I'll give it to her, though. What I did, I found three hidden immunity idols - two without any clues. I got rid of Kelly in one of the biggest, historical tribal councils in history. I made John, the rocket scientist, change his vote to get rid of Laura, and then I get rid of him. Then I get rid of Dave, then I beat Brett in the last immunity challenge. And I'm the one who partnered with Shambo to make all of that happen. So Natalie gets one, but I could go on and on. So let's weigh it out. Let's think logical. Who really deserves it?

But you assumed the jury would vote logically, which they rarely do.

Yes, I did. I thought that because the game was so hard, especially where we were at, I thought they would respect the game and vote the way they should vote. I thought they possibly would respect the game, and that's what I was banking on.

Instead, the jury voted for the social game.

Erik told me [last night] that he made the wrong decision; he told me he should have voted for me. Kelly told me that if she watched the season [before voting], she would have voted for me. People [are] saying they made the wrong decision now, which is crazy because that shows you that they're voting with their heart, not their mind. That's how it works. Everybody keeps saying, "The social game, the social game!" Well, let's rename the show. I got Mark Burnett's number, and we'll change it to "outwit, outlast, outplay, outsocialize." We can put that in there. But everybody always says that that is the reason, the only reason. No, the social game is only good for people that get bitter. That's what that's good for; it's good for people like Laura and Dave, who Laura controlled because he's a Looney Toon. He belongs in a mental hospital anyway.

Do you think you were too cocky at the final tribal council?

Oh, no. If I went in there saying, "Oh, guys I'm so sorry" and this and that, y'all, the viewers, would have been like, "That's terrible! He shouldn't do that!" My speech, I laid it out for them. I went in there saying exactly what I did and I didn't change anything. If I change everything the last day, then I'm a coward. So I wasn't about to be all warm and fuzzy with them.

Mick and Jaison said that while you made all the aggressive moves, they were still responsible for keeping you around when all the other players wanted to vote you out.

OK, well, how about that day that Shambo wanted to get rid of Dave? I wanted to get rid of John instead, but Jaison didn't want to go against Shambo. But I said, "No, it's gonna happen," and Jaison votes for John. Like I told him to. They just don't want to look like idiots, and they're a bunch of idiots. You see how bitter Jaison was? He came at me at tribal council. And then you're gonna come after me on live TV? That's crazy, 'cause I'm gonna get you.

On the first night of Survivor,you burned the socks and dumped out your tribe's water. And while you said you wanted to weaken your tribe, it still led to weeks of Foa Foa losing the immunity challenges. Do you regret that at all?

No way! I got to the finals, didn't I? You see me at the finals? I got to the finals.

You got rid of a lot of female players, which served you well in the game, but you also made a lot of offensive remarks about them, such as calling them bitches or "silly little girls."

The only thing I regret in the game is calling Monica a bitch. That's what I regret. I don't regret calling Natalie and Ashley, who are my good friends now, my "dumb-ass girl alliance." I don't regret that because that was part of my game and I was just telling the world that that's what I'm doing here. When I did that to Monica, I was mad. I shouldn't have done that because I was pissed off at her. I shouldn't have done it. I shouldn't have called her a bitch.

Of all the other players on Survivor: Samoa, who is the one person you would vote for to receive a million dollars?

I think Marisa was the smartest person in the game. I would give her a million dollars because I think that she got screwed and put on the season with me. She was way too tough and I didn't want to play with a strong woman. Why? Why? That's crazy. I know what a strong woman can do. They're gonna get me out of there, so why do I want to play with them?

At the reunion, you told Natalie you would give her your $100,000 if you could have the title of "Sole Survivor." Why is the title so important to you?

It's the Sole Survivor! It's what I was playing for. Natalie was playing for a million dollars; I was playing for Sole Survivor. That's why I could play so aggressive; that's why I could do some of the things I did: because I was playing for the title.
