Sure it could have been better, but it could have been WAY worse. The pre-ass pics are all top-notch, and there a plenty of people I did not excpect to see again that I'm positively surprised got on. Twila robbage (again) is what hurts me the most too, and also the fact that they couldn't get the clearance for Richard to be on.

Immediately after seeing the cast list for S20 I was thinking "well this season is gonna suck." The cast is so-so (huray for excluding thailand and fiji entirely!! hahaha) but yeah, they are missing some great players and I fucking hate rupert.

Posts: 2312 (12/21/09 04:11 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	My biggest problem with S20 is that I still feel my idea was much better - bring it back to Borneo, have 16 peeps, give it an old school feel, and have Gervase and Colleen be on one tribe respectively. With that said, I like the majority of the cast. There will be duds in every All-Star season ever for the rest of time, and although it feels like with a little more effort that could have been avoided very easily for this concept, it is something that just has to be accepted. What I hate is that I think I now know a portion of the boot order and the winner... not cool. Survivor spoilers are so much different then BB spoilers. They ruin my viewing experience, especially in an All-Star season where I am going to have a boatload of cats to root for. So I am praying that the two major bits of information I have are at least partially wrong. Besides from that, I am pumped. This is a great concept, that has a good (could have been great) cast along with it. There is enough there for this to work.

I agree about Gervase but Colleen doesn't even want to be on the show anymore... If she doesn't want to be on, they shouldn't try that hard to cast her... sure it'd be great but her heart wouldn't really be in it and I expect she will get a bad rep if she does go on the season.. probably won't be the sweatheart anymore, might complain more... etc, etc... She doesn't want to be on the show, so why bother. Get some other Pre ASS females who deserve it or just females who want to be there (Twila for example)

Wait, danielle is a villain? what the hell did she do to be considered a villain? that's really bizarre. I thought the casting choice was bad enough but the fact they are playing her off as a villain over somebody like sugar who actually was very devious is really strange.

And Huntorr, I've always found it easy to not read spoilers, namely spoilers that are marked as spoilers and not put up for the sole purpose of spoiling you when you absolutely do NOT want to be spoiled. Your best bet is to try not to think about it, but...the more you actually DO think about it, the harder it is to forget and the more it's probably to get ingrained in your brain.

I'd add Hero Male of Terry; Hero female would be Shambo; Villain male would be Johnny Fairplay; Villain female would have been Corrine. How do you reconcile this? 1) You start the game as a big tribe of 12 Heros and 12 Villains. Let the fireworks happen. 2) At the first IC, Probst lays a twist on them. The first challenge, will not be Heros vs Villains. It will be the Male Heros vs the Male Villains on one course; at the same time, in a seperate challenge, the Hero females and the villain females also will compete. the losing tribes go to TC. This conceivably could mean that you now have the hero males winning as well as the villain females....and now they are one tribe......

It worries me too, and I like Candice and occasionally like Courtney.

I actually wouldn't have minded if they did a few more people instead of 20, since its an anniversary edition, although 24 would be the stop number. Maybe they'll do that for the final season ever.

They're probably just not particularly interested anymore. Why does CBS hate Guatemala so much? That season had some awesome characters, and they never seem to be considered for these things.
