Consider this is already season 19, you guys act like as if this is the first time the results did not go the way you intended it to be.
Get a life.
The main objective of Survivor is making all the way to the finals, voting people out along the way and in the end convince those peope to vote for you to
win,period.
There is NO rule or any golden rules from any survivor handbook (if it even exists) that state that you have to play hard and aggressively in order to be
deserving of the sole survivor title.
Maybe, there is, in your own little world.
Neither is there any rules that state that playing under the radar will make you more deserving of the sole survivor title.
At the end of the day,it comes down to personal preferences.Well,to each his own. Most members on this forum think highly of Russell's strategy and
think poorly of Natalie's strategy.
As long as it gets you to the finals and the million, who cares what strategy you use.
Let me tell you something, it doesn't matter how many boots you engineered or how many blindsides you orchestrated or how many bold moves you make because at the end of the day,if you can't impress the jury or win them over,it's meaningless.
You guys can argue all the way you want.
The objective is very simple. You just adopts whatever strategy that suits you and if you can make it all the way till the end and manages to win, then kudos to you.
Different strategy works for different people.Just because you don't like strategy x or y or z, that doesn't mean it sucks. It probably isn't your cup of tea.Everybody has their own preferences.
When someone wins, you have to give them credit, regardless of wheather you like or agree with their strategy.
I was unhappy when Jenna won Amazon or Parvarti wons Micronesia. But then I realised I have to give them credit for it. They earned it.They managed to win over the jury especially Jenna who managed to get Christy to vote for her.
If you can piss people off and still manage to get them to vote for you to win the title, then more power to you.
Obviously,Russell fails in that. He claims to be the greatest player and that he can control the way people think and the way they vote.
What a joke!
He can't even win the jury over and influence the way they vote.
Please don't say the jury is bitter. You handle whichever way the cards are deal to you.
As for those who say, twenty years later and Russell will still be remembered and Natalie will be forgotten easily......
Who cares!!!!!
These people are ordinary people like you and me. They have ordinary jobs and lives like most people( you and I), it just that they got lucky and selected to
take part in a reality show. They're not celebrities or stars.
It's not like they join survivor as a platform to get to hollywood or to become the next big thing.
As if they care whether or not you guys still remember them.Oh please. This people join survivor with just the intention of winning the million.
Regardless of whether they win or not, most of them just return back to their normal daily lives.
UNLESS, you're refering to those attention and fame seeking people like boston rob and amber or even jerri who is still constantly trying to cash in on
their 15 mins of fame on tv, yeah these people are probably more worried that they will be forgotten on tv by you guys.
I wouldn't be concerned if Natalie White or even brett or kelly will be forgotten in a few years time. It's not like they join survivor to get into
showbiz.
They're just ordinary people as contestants on a reality tv show. They served their purpose and they had their experience on the show.
