Probably once Rob's new Poutine show tanks and he has to look for another job.

I was shocked when Amber dated then married that grease ball. How can she be that desperate?
She has obvious talents (not her brains) maybe she should get into some movies or magazines. |

cancelled before it ever filmed. There were some issues with it, cant remember exactly what. Maybe rob wanted amber as a co-host

I think the issue might have been that the contestants had to put up their own money and everyone was like "NO Fucking Thanks!"

I saw footage of Rob practicing his opening bit for Tontine, it was, to say the least, ATROCIOUS. There were rumors that a crew member died during scouting,
the casting director got hit with a nasty staph infection that he shared publicly via video, and the whole concept for the show turned out to be a giant
clusterfuck. I read the legaleze and it made NO sense and I am not even an attorney. They expected contestants to contribute all their "ASSETS" but
not the liabilities that were attached to them. They expected you to ante up your home, yet somehow make your mortgage decouple from it. The bottom line is
no one who was willing to be cast had any wealth to speak of, and producers didn't either. And the OTHER bottom line is that no one would watch past
episode 1 with Rob a host.

Has anyone seen the Romba sex tape that was leaked? Now they're really really fame whores.

Sex tape? As long as Mariano ain't in it, please PM the linkie.
Here's that opening practice bit with Rob being overly officious and RTV-hosty to an empty table:
Anyhow, anybody want to take this to (sry, my) Tontine thread?:
Tontine: Rob Mariano gets a RTV show, apocalypse forthcoming
I'd love to know why this thing apparently blew up at the very last minute.

Piranhahaha wrote: The show was scrapped because none of the major networks (or any cable network, for that matter) wanted anything to do with the concept of Tontine. There was a great concern that the chances were good that someone who lost all their assets would commit suicide. One of the networks might have agreed if the concept would have been altered but the producers refused, so Tontine RIP. |

Is Rob so addicted to gambling that he wanted to create a show where the contestants gambled away all their possessions?

So...back to that rumored sex tape?
Rob's too slick for that. Looking forward to this rumored appearance in the next Survivor, Heroes vs Villians |
