Being sweet, unassuming, "humble", non egocentric, smiley, etc. Unlike Sandra, she didn't totally suck at challenges, and she did give her all in
every single thing she attempted(like Neleh.)

I know, she did very little else in that time (or we didn't see her do anything else so must assume she did nothing worth using). I don't even know how
influential she was in that move, I was just saying that editing made it out as her move just like they made the Marisa, Betsy, Ashley, Liz and John boots out
as entirely Russell's move. I guess she made nice with Galu and maintained her alliance with Russell? Played dumb so that Russ would take her to the end?
Stroked Russell's ego so that he would choke at the FTC? I know it doesn't seem like much but it was all it took to win. I kind of feel that Russell
overplayed it and made the jury more bitter than they may have otherwise been if he had adopted a more measured approach (ala Todd)...

I wish Jeff had mentioned Monica wanting to take out Natalie. She knew they were an alliance. She should have shut the fuck up and made Laura suggest it.

If Russell had been voted out of the game at anytime during the game Natalie was toast since Russell was her only strategy. If Natalie had been voted out at
any time before Russell it wouldn't have mattered to Russell at all, he had other alliances to help him get to final tribal council. He even made an
alliance with Brett to get there!!! What was Natalie doing in the meantime?

dont get me wrong russel deserved what he got for taking someone with 4 obvious votes to the final tc. However that jury was still retarded and Natalie lucked into a win while providing very little substance |

I think there was nothing formal, but Natalie's relationship with the Galu women may have helped her. Had Jaison gone after the merge and Russell followed,
I wouldn't have been surprised to see the girls try to get Natalie to at least help take out John and Erik.
Russell's funny in that he is willing to take all of the credit, but none of the blame. When you play a big risk/reward game, you have to be willing to accept both sides. At times, you have to play to not lose as much as you have to play to win. |

Russell should have realized that Nat would have the girl votes. He should have at least courted Erik, Dave and reconciled with Jaison. It's his own fault
for trying to coast on his own in game strategy "I'm HARDCORE!" without working it all the way to the final vote.
The two people he backstabbed the hardest, Shambo and John, gave him the TJ/Lil vote. |

Lividmanda was sitting somewhere thinking, "damn, even I would've had a shot against this asshole in front of a jury."
That's when you know you're game is fucked. |

rickety row wrote:That's the dumbest thing ever. If Natalie/Mick/Jaison had been voted out at all before Russell, he would have been done. They were the alliance the kept his ass afloat post merge. No Alliance = No game. What other alliances did he have with people other than those three? None. Cut any of those three out and Russell has absolutely no game. Whereas if you removed Russell, as some people already said, Natalie would have no problem integrating into the fold with the Galu women. |

Were you even watching that show? Nat was high on their bootlist. Her ass would have been gone faster than you can say o my werd. Whereas russel was at least
active in trying to remain safe be it idols or use of turncoats

I love how he said "Survivor is not supposed to be about the social game". He really doesn't know nothing about this game. He must think Survivor
= Big Brother on the woods. Which I would consider it to be if Russell won.
I want Eliza or other alumni to show him this board. I want to see his delusions of grandeur as personally as I can. <3 |

BortBort wrote: I`m not saying Russel controlled it like he said, but the fact that nobody from the actual contestants came forward so far and said it wasnt anything like that makes me think that it`s at least not completely fabricated. Furthermore, it seems as if that was her (THE WINNERS!!!) only move (if it was...) and if it had been anything beyond the mockery version of my last post, we might`ve seen a bit more of it I think. But most likely they had nothing to show. |

In the Dalton Ross interview, when Russell is saying how Jaison is screwed up for life he name drops Coach.
That is hilarious. |

You looked pretty hurt by the outcome. How are you feeling?
Well, I'm feeling pretty bad right now; but you know what? I won the fan favorite. That's pretty amazing. RussellGotScrewed.com is already up. Check
it out.
The tide changed three or four or five weeks into the game, and you started winning people over.
I went from being even more hated than Johnny Fairplay to maybe even more loved than Rupert. How do you do that in one season? How is that possible? I
don't know. Jeff would tell me. He said, "You can be cocky and charming at the same time." I don't know if that's it. I think it's
my southern charm, I guess you could say.
Way back on the first day you made comments about Hurricane Katrina, and how you were a fireman. Marisa was infuriated. Do you still get flack for
that?
You know what? I go to the LSU games all the time in Baton Rogue, where the people were effected, and I have a friend in New Orleans, who that did happen to,
who lost everybody. They love it. At first I regretted the story about Hurricane Katrina when I saw it. But when I talked to people who were in Katrina,
they were thanking me for bringing it back, because people forget about things. The story that I told happened to my best friend's brother, and I asked
him permission to tell the story.
At the point people found out you made two million dollars last year, they must have realized you weren't a fireman who lost everything in
Hurricane Katrina. Did they confront you about making that up?
Nobody said anything. That's how easy it was to manipulate these people. All of them. They really sucked.
If they were all weak then why did you lose?
I was with a bunch of weak-minded people, and it proves that fact, because you see how I controlled them. I told them to get here - get over here. And then
when they found out that I was mad at them they started shaking. They got nervous. That's sort of a double-edged sword, because then when that weak
person gets on the jury they'll never vote for you, because they were weak minded already.
Did you believe you'd win?
I had a strong feeling I wasn't going to win.
When did you have a strong feeling?
When I was walking off the jury. You know what? That's why I'm good at the game. I can read how you talk to me and I can read how you talk to
somebody else. When I saw how they were talking to Natalie and how they were talking to me I thought, "You gotta be kidding me." It was hurting me
in the stomach. That's why I created a website - RussellGotScrewed.com. Because I knew there was no way.
What's your advice to a future player?
Jump on the strong guy. Play the social game because you'll win every time. You'll win every time playing the social game. But you know what? If you
get there [that way] you got lucky. I'm not lucky. I played the game. If you play the social game you've got to make sure that your luck is running
good because that's the only thing that's going to get you to the top.

I love that Natalie's an idiot because she wouldn't massage his ego even more and give him a title he didn't earn for a little extra money.
