Well not next season because it's an All Stars.

And I honestly don't know if there will be another after that. The awkward pauses when Russell had his tantrum made me think Jeff was about to quit on the spot Sunday night.

Poor Natalie.

Hence why viewers were left scratching their heads after the finale and bloggers have been churning out dozens of articles trying to explain the ending to this season. Clearly someone high up in the Survivor food chain was not happy with the outcome, and decided to punish the winner by giving her a non-existent edit.

The viewers have spoken and they don't like it when the winner is completely ignored all season long. It just makes for a very unsatisfying ending. You have to give people a reason to be invested in the winner's journey, even if you don't actually like the winner. But you can at least understand why they won.

^ lol Russell had as many confessionals in EP 14 alone than Brett did the entire season. Natalie 15 total and she's the winner. Sigh...

So Russell had the highest confessional average for a Survivor ever? It looks that way.

Thanks for counting! Although I'd suggest a new thread for the new season.

Not what I was expecting as far as Coach, and way too much white guys, but pleasantly balanced compared to what we've been seeing lately. Hopefully we'll see ebbs and flows in the confessional count as story arcs rise and fall over the course of the season.
