I agree with this. If they want the viewer to respect the under-the-radar/social game, please show some more of the winner and how they became the winner. I hate these coattail riding bitches and the bitter juries that vote for them. Maybe Natalie had the social connections that helped get the votes the Foa Foa needed, but most of the time she was doing so under Russel's direction. Maybe if they showed more of her game, I could respect her victory more.

Once my meetings were over and I started watching this season they were so physically miserable, I couldn't stand it. Of course the first real episode I caught was the one with the med-evac. Having EPMB create misery just didn't seem like fun this time--not with people sleeping in the park. So, with a lot of big events this fall cutting into my time, I didn't keep up. But I did miss you guys! That said, I have to red ex Suns' post--"villains" win with a goat beside them. And they have a kind of charm by the time they hit FTC--Hatch revelled in his role and Heidek hid his level of contempt. I would also posit that they weren't after the title--just the money--so their egos didn't get in the way of the goal. Russell cared too much that he be thought number one, so he lost sight of the goal.

They would never air confessionals like that because it would confuse the audience.

Posts: 12 (12/24/09 01:49 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I don't know if this has been addressed anywhere else and may be a moot point overall but I was wondering, if the jury really wanted to get back at Russell, couldn't it have split the 7 votes for Natalie into a 4-3 and make Russell the third place finisher, thus falling behind both Natalie and Mick? Now, admittingly, that idea was probably way over the heads of this particular jury but it is something to think about. It was probably infuriating enough that he lost 7-2 to the "dumb blonde" but I wonder if Russell's head would have exploded if he had finished 3rd to the both of them.
