I think Mister Yuck probably is horribly boring and pretty stiff in real life. I don't get the flamboyant thing at all.
I bet people look at him when he talks and their eyes go into a slow-mo glaze. He probably talks over them, intellectualizes everything and the most they can do is nod and bat their eyelashes, but they are never really paying attention to him because he never tries to connect with them or perhaps he's just that boring. The only thing he can connect with on an emotional level are made-up personas on a message board and that is why he is here. Real people? Forget it.
He made a comment in the past about what constituted "settling" to him in a relationship and it was quite clear from his response that this is a man who is supremely arrogant and inflexible.
