Ranked in order of preference.

S4 - Survivor was still relatively new (meaning relatively fleshed out characters), and this season proved that the numbers wouldn't always doom those in the minority. Plus, I was rooting for Vee, which gives it the advantage of not disappointing me at the end.

S6 - The cast was interesting and fairly well developed, the men v. women plotline didn't dominate fortunately, and the endgame had numerous wild swings. Too bad Jenna won at the end!

S7 - I wasn't fond of the Outcast twist or the editors choosing to waste so much time punishing Osten or the glorification of Rupert, but at least Rupert went down early, the endgame became completely unpredictable, and Sandra made for a satisfactory winner.

S12 - This season had the characters, and the twists down the stretch kept the players on their toes although the pre-merge wasn't that exciting. Terry's streak was pretty incredible, but Aras made for an OK winner.

S15 - This season seemed almost a return to decent editing that had been lacking with many well-developed players. The early post-merge backstabs kept the strategy interesting, and while I was rooting for Peih Gee, I couldn't argue with Todd's win.

S11 - OK, the returning players wasn't a great idea in my opinion, but at least we got to see Stephenie alienate a good portion of her undeserved fan base. There were a lot of players not well defined (including the winner), but the characters that were developed were interesting, and Danni's improbable win at least prevented the alternatives from doing so.

S1 - Clearly, this was the season that started it all, and I only saw the finale in the first run, but the concept presented was pure gold. The villain winning was a nice hook to set up the franchise going forward, and clearly the characters were developed as on no other season.

S8 - OK, the All Star concept had me hooked, and it was cool to see former players interacting with each other, but the season became pretty boring post-merge except for Shii Ann's immunity win.

S13 - This season suffered from lack of characterization, but the story of the Aitu's surprising comeback was pretty good, and Yul's play was impressive even if the immunity idol was overpowered.

S2 - The second season deservedly loses points for lack of drama, particularly post-Jerri boot, but the characters were all well defined, and I was pleased that Tina beat Colby in the end. (I always did wonder why Keith was so disliked however.)

S17 - Seeing the overconfident Onions go down was happily reminiscent of S4's play, but this season suffers badly from Sugar's failure to play to win and the resulting endgame.

S3 - This season was just so static with little going on amongst the players. The players were developed, but the gameplay suffered from predictability outside of a few strange results - Kelly's ouster for instance.

S19 - There was too much Russell at the expense of the other players in this season, and it detracted from the underdog triumph as Foa Foa beat Galu. Plus, the Galu just weren't disliked enough for me to want them to lose.

S18 - Too much Coach? I just didn't get into this season, and its placing here may be just because of relative unfamiliarity. Maybe, the game just seemed too easy for J. T.

S5 - The early Ghandia incident was hard to watch, and this season justly suffers from likeable players. The fake merge made for one moment of TV entertainment at the expense of any interesting gameplay down the stretch.

S16 - This season also suffered from a lack of likeable players, not to mention much good strategy down the stretch. The fans were left underdeveloped, and all the more interesting favorites left early.

S10 - This season was just boring. I suppose there was something to seeing the trainwreck of Ulong, but other than Tom's challenge dominance, there wasn't much story to establish in Koror. I hated the Janu quit, too, especially when it seemed manipulated to save Stephenie.

S9 - The pre-merge lacked drama after the first few votes, and the post-merge started fairly boring as well. The men v. women theme didn't disappear to the detriment of the season, and while Chris made for a nice underdog story, he ruined it by being a bit of a jerk.

S14 - This season is the one I paid the least attention to of any season. Perhaps it was just me? Still, the twist was unfair, many characters were not well developed, and the poor gameplay of Dreamz rivalled that of Sugar for being self-defeating.

I won't presume to speak for the poster who wrote that, but I will give my take on that F4.

None of them seemed to have a plan for the endgame except perhaps Cirie, and even she got a bit too comfortable. Partly, it is the fault of the expectation that there would be a final 3 instead of the vastly superior final 2. With a final 3, it takes less work to get to the end, and you don't have to betray as many people to get there. So from Cirie's perspective, why break up Amanda and Parvati when she probably thought she could beat them both in an F3? All Cirie had to do was make sure they didn't kick her out before Natalie. They didn't, and Cirie thought she had the game won. Cirie was very rarely likely to win any immunity so the F2 pretty much doomed her. Some people complain about this, but she really should have had the possibility of a F2 in mind from the start. (I hate the F3 by the way - it leads to weak endgame play.)

As for the others, they were just as bad. Parvati and Amanda were going to bring Cirie to what they thought was an F3. This is actually worse for Parvati than for Amanda because it would have insured that she did not win! Technically, Amanda might have had a chance in a F3 due to a split of votes between Cirie and Parvati, but she might have been even better off with Natalie in the mix.

As for Natalie, just dumb, dumb, dumb play. Her fooling Jason cost her the game at a point when she could have used him as a willing pawn. And best of all, it wouldn't have necessarily cost her any goodwill with her alliance. Just let Jason know to play the idol and take out anyone she wanted (Amanda!). Boom, she resolves her tricky alliance situation, she maintains her main alliance, removes a major threat, and keeps Jason around in case she needs him for the next vote. Instead, she decides to play to the camera and show how "evil" she is. To be fair, she did make the right move in targeting Amanda next even though that blew up on her, and she may not have had many options at F5 when she was likely the alternative boot to Erik (though if she could have swayed Parvati/Cirie to boot the other or Amanda, that would have been much better!). But the reason she was in that situation was because she burned a willing pawn for no reason.
