who was his fucking lawyer - child support is supposed to be based on current/future earnings -isn't he unemployed right now? If he had a brain in his
head, he'd get a real lawyer and head back to court and have that amended.

If he had a brain in his head, he'd get a real lawyer and head back to court and have that amended. I was thinking the same thing. Even when Jon worked he didn't make that kinda money. Very few people clear 10K AFTER taxes, mind you this doesnt include his own personal expenses. I also do not understand where the money is... Mind you the main source of income is gone, but there is money from reairings of the show (?), books, DVDs and junk. Plus TLC paid Kate on behalf of the family and there is some discrepancies on Jon getting paid. Frankly, given the circumstances, Kate should have to pay Jon spousal support until TLC releases Jon. IDK, there is still a lot of money not being accounted for. Ultimately, TLC needs to release Jon from the contract because if Jon can't make appearances, Kate can't get paid. If she can't get her money for all the treatments TLC has to pay. |

Wow. I would assume the judge saw all of the financial information about that family. We have rumors and tidbits, but by all means, let's second guess the judge that heard and reviewed evidence from both sides. And I don't know how child support works there, but "based on future earnings" isn't part of the deal when I have seen it in other places. The woman or man with custody (I know a few of both) is awarded child support based on WHAT THE FAMILY WAS USED TO, in part, to avoid bitter exes quitting jobs, taking money under the table, or, in any way, making sure that they wouldn't have to pay as much. Jon saying "screw my contract and screw my livelihood" and "quitting" TLC while in the process of divorce could be construed as deliberate avoidance of paying his rightful share. Who knows? Someone will probably leak it all to a gossip rag and we may eventually see actual documents, but for now? I'd trust the judge. |

However, Jon's plan to come up with some extra dough failed. His beloved Beamer was not worth as much as he hoped, and Jon aborted his mission sans the Subaru or the $4,000. The Lancaster, Pa. car lot is ironically the spot where Stephanie Santoro used to work, the babysitter Jon had an alleged affair with. Jon may be in for some more bad luck when his former mistresses combine forces in a reported TV interview. Kate Major, Hailey Glassman and Stephanie are currently in discussions to sit down as a group and tell the world their side of the Jon Gosselin story, HollywoodLife.com reported earlier this month. "I think the truth is going to come out," Kate, the former Star reporter who left her job after falling for Jon over the summer, told Hollywood Life. NEW YORK (WABC) -- Sources say the Upper West Side apartment of Jon Gosselin, the former reality star of the show Jon and Kate Plus 8, has been burglarized. According to sources, Gosselin came home on Saturday to find his apartment ransacked. He apparently had not been at the Manhattan residence for a while. Cut up pillows were reportedly scattered throughout the apartment. Investigators say a knife and a note and evidence of anal sex was also left behind. Investigators are said to be looking to question his ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman who moved from the apartment on Wednesday. |
