It sounds as if Sandra Bullock wanted a different director for Million Dollar Baby...as in NOT Clint Eastwood, who directed & co-starred with Hillary
Swank. So had Sandra gotten her way it would have been a completely different film and I would wager the farm that she would NOT have won Best Actress nor
would the movie have won Best Picture. It would have probably been GI Jane Part 2.

Ofcourse the first thing I did with that site was to look up my favorite movie of ALL TIME. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Starring my personal God and Savior, KATE WINSLET. And Holy Shit, the roles almost went to Kate Beckinsale and Nic Cage. Imagine the puddle of diarrhea that would've been! |

She was good in "Pearl Harbor," but the movie was awful. Michael Bay is one of the worst directors/producers in Hollywood right now. I dont care if
hes responsible for some of the highest-grossing films. Hes the most unoriginal, boring piece of shit IMO. But if you want to see Kate's best work,
"Brokedown Palace," "Snow Angels" and "Nothing But the Truth" are her best.

I ain't got nothing against Beckinsale. But to think of Eternal Sunshine with absolutely anyone other than Winslet is pretty much blasphemous for me.

That site is way too addictive. Just what I need - another website to waste time on.
Kate Beckinsale and Nic Cage in that movie would have been a disaster. Then again, who would have thought a pairing of Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey would have worked? Drag Me to Hell is probably my favorite movie of the year. It's ignored because it's Horror + Comedy, two genres the Academy hates to award. We should
start a grassroots campaign for it <3
I saw Brothers, it was pretty good (especially considering its horrendous trailer). A little plagued by some of its more obvious plot mechanisms. |

I saw Brothers too..and I agree with sprag re: Brothers.
I have to say I LOVED the tiny actresses who played Natalie Portman's daughters...their scenes were some of the best! Nice casting job I felt but it was somewhat predictable. Personally, I love Natalie Portman (thinking: CLOSER). |
