Just wanted to mention- based on how Russell and Probst conducted themselves at the Reunion...... I get the feeling that Russell does not come anywhere close
on Survivor 20 then he did on Survivor 19. I am basing that on how Probst and Russell both conducted themselves, I just get the feeling that Russ does not do
that well on it. What do you all think?

No doubt about it he doesnt win based on his reactions. Otherwise his reactions would have a bit a "slight" bit more smug and happy than it was on
Sunday.

You mean like as compared to the China finale when Amanda didn't really seem all THAT upset she didn't win because she knew she still had another shot
that she might have won the jury vote?

Russell is the type who actually may take it worse if he loses at 2 final tribals. If he got voted off early in season 20 he may care less. But to lose again
at the end twice sucks.

I really hope Russell doesn't last as long as in Samoa. He had so much air time that i don't have the stomach to watch him last long in H vs V. Also i
think it is a mistake bringing player back to back because i do think they will most likely repeat the same mistakes as they don't have the time to reflect
on their trials and errors. Russell played a good game but his social game sucks. Also i honestly think he was so convinced that he had the game in the bag
that he will probably play smilier strategy and repect the same mistakes as in Samoa.

I don't think he would have been THIS bitter and Probst would have been downplaying things if Russell had done REALLY well on S20.
Or maybe, Probst and Russell already discussed this and agreed upon an athetic approach here. they do seem to ask that we the fan's know nothing we have not been officially told and perhaps think that (and maybe are right) that most Survivor Fan's don't watch the internet for spoilers or for and thus wanted no clues/hints given regarding Season 20 until the end. |

how far along were they into Season 19 when they started taping season 20???

There was only a two week gap between filming Samoa and S20.
Samoa had not even aired yet when S20 started filming. Thus, none of the returning players had a clue as to how Russell played the game in Samoa. |

I wonder if he was dumb enough to tell people on HvV that he won Samoa. That could've easily contributed to his attitude on the finale; the fact that he
walked around during season 20 thinking of he was the winner of Samoa and one of the best players of all time.
