AWESOME, and utterly nerve-wrecking. My only quibble would be the luck task at the start, some teams never recovered from that. I really like the themes for
these 2 legs.
I wrote close to 0 skits because I'm that nervous and it really saps away at my attention, but I have a few storylines in mind definitely. I tried to write a little but yeah. Leg 6 was always going to be about Dash/Marky talking about their coming out and their past, and Leg 7 will affect them since they're both gay and (nominally) Christian at least. They definitely appreciate the experience, though. I'll edit all of that in soonish. Oh, and Yuku? SUCKS. That is all grrrrr. ETA: I vote YES YES YES mwahahahaha. Closing Confessional: Darius: *snuggles against Marco as they sit under the sky* That was such a magical moment. It just... I don't know. It filled me with so much joy. *presses his nose against Marco's face* It's just... I'm humbled to witness this, you know? Marco: *smiles* I guess God does love me. It was always something that ate as me, as a gay guy... *t.ears up a bit* And I know he loved you too. Even with you not going to church and whatnot. The first leg was fun although the screenshot was really also a luck task (you couldn't really time it, it's so fast) so both detour options being
luck-based is a little tough to swallow.
Both the RB and both detours being writing/designing tasks is a little overkill for the second leg. I vote YES! Bring Phil back! |

These legs were great... although leg 7 would've been a good place for a Fast Forward. The first detour was a little too luck based, which was perhaps
overkill considering how long that RPS task at the start took. The second leg was just great. Nothing stands out as being the best thing you've ever done,
but there was nothing bad about it, either - even if both detours were slightly similar (although one was more quality, and the other quantity).
One issue I think the race has, though, is specifics. I'll admit that Nick probably could've put a little more effort in (although I would've passed Wuming), but you should really set some kind of minimum standard so there's no controversy again... and that's not just with the writing tasks, it's also with the currency. It would be nice if you specified what currency we're using. It hasn't been much of an issue in the last few legs, but I really didn't know what we'd be using in Greece until everyone decided on Euros, due to the whole ancient Greece thing. Maybe if you could include what currency we're using in the travel update, yeah, that would make thinks a little easier for everyone. Yes for Death to Gaga (can we do it Bad Romance style) |

And yet, as I write this letter in the dimly lit barn where the Son of God was just born, my hatred for Mr. Darcy has strangely subsided. Trust me, my sister, I will still avenge your honour, but it is as if during the course of this leg (which I will relay to you once I have a more suitable location as to correspond with you), my feelings for him as grown stronger in a positive direction. It also appears that he is slowly changing, mostly after me rejecting his marriage proposal. (You will learn more later, my giddy sister). I must soon meditate and look into mine self to realize what my feelings are for him, even if I believe him to be proud and pompous. ^Ditto. Good job with solving all the prolems with the postswaps, since there seemed to be a lot of it happening in these two legs. Liked the tasks, though
yeah, having the Detour and Roadblock in the Bethlehem leg was a little much.
But other than that, great legs! Good way to go out for the holidays then come back on the 28th! |

Would the postbumping problem possibly be more easily handled with a two post update procedure? The first post would be a simple "updating" post to,
in effect freeze the game and give time for Yuku to settle. Then, after an appropriate interval, perhaps determined by trial and error, the detailed update
would be posted. This would give time for the host to check any URL IDs if needed.
