Have to say this. I think that as long as Survivor survives, nice people are going to win. Not all of these nice people are going to be JT's and TomW's. Some more may even be females (imagine that!).
Therefore, CBS, SEG, or whoever will need to get used to the fact that normal, nice people are more respected these days than snakes and swindlers. So, they may want to focus more on those nice people and give them stories, show their darker sides when possible, and give more than 30 confessionals. Hiding someone from the viewers doesn't change the outcome of the game no matter how much Burnett and Probst would like.
Good point, but it's when the nice females win that the editors are flummoxed. Then again, there was Bob.
Oh - the reason we're closing in on 6000 posts is basically Blake and astro et al. There's quantity, and there's quality (don't take that wrong, Blake, but you gotta admit that much of the fracas here shed more smoke than light.) I am quite impressed with the overall quality of the post-season analysis here. Yeah, there are disagreements, but folks aren't getting out the long knives to end them.
Quite civilized. Pass the Earl Grey, if you would...
