Would the postbumping problem possibly be more easily handled with a two post update procedure? The first post would be a simple "updating" post to, in effect freeze the game and give time for Yuku to settle. Then, after an appropriate interval, perhaps determined by trial and error, the detailed update would be posted. This would give time for the host to check any URL IDs if needed.
