Jews and Atheists: What Movie Did You See Today? |
Lead | |
|
"Up in the Air" - Some great dialog and a winning performance from George Clooney, but all too predictable, and it ends up descending into the hokum
that the first 90 minutes so adeptly avoids.

I'm watching Primevil episodes on Netflix. I may go see Avatar tomorrow. Or maybe I'll wait a few days to avoid the crowds.

This Atheist watched The Boy In The Striped Pajamas on DVD. It's a holocaust themed movie. Oh, and I went to a video poker bar for dinner (Las Vegas) and
ignored all phone calls and Xmas texts. And if I were celebrating Xmas I'd be offended at the Xmas texts. Who does that?

Do people really go to the movies on Christmas? Even I would never be desperate enough for that.

I've been to many a movie on Xmas day and yes, people do go. It's usually full actually. Last time I went I saw Dreamgirls and there wasn't an
empty seat in the house.

Up In The Air wasn't the best movie ever but it beat the hell out of going to a Christmas Eve church service.

I don't think the theatres are even open here on Christmas. If they are, then I have yet to meet someone who saw a movie on Christmas.

My lack of God belief led me to re-watch Burn After Reading. One of those I didn't care for at first, but gets better with each viewing.

That used to be a Christmas tradition for me and my friends. After the festivities we would always go see a movie Christmas night. Theater was always packed
too. I would have gone to one today but I decided napping was more the thing I was after.

I'd rather go to a church service than see the unappetizing movies that are showing right now.

Jews are too busy counting the money they made on a Holiday that they're trying to bring down.
