I'm old and was resistant. The first time I held one in my hand. though, I threw my morals out the window and threw my panties at the Amazon CEO.
It's magical. It only takes about 2 hours with a kindle before you start mocking the silliness of paper books. |

Seriously. I was a book worshiper until I got the kindle. Then I realized that words transcend paper and the kindle is a gift from the gods. Now paper books
are awkward. Might as well read stone tablets.

Is there a way to change the duration of inactivity that triggers the Kindle to go to sleep? I'd like for it to stay awake a little longer than it
currently does. Although I am amused by the different pictures the screen displays while sleeping. It's currently John Steinbeck. Before that it was fish.

Gina is right. Stick the kindle in a big ziplock back and you can read in the bathtub all you want.
