I just like the fact that every argument for Nat's win can be countered by someone else's win...its great.

I think a lot of that jury was disappointed in the Scout uniform. Lil screwed herself, and she's been woman enough to admit it since. For Burton to trust
Lil, to spend those Outcast days with her, there was a relationship. Lil's jury performance killed her too, but when Sandra placed the blame on Lil for the
exit of every person on that Jury, it was brilliant, because any relationship she may have had no longer mattered. I'd argue that Sandra's jury
performance is on par with Todd's, and Sandra had the distinction of not being the snake that Todd was. All in all, the uniform could have been one of the
better strategic moves, working toward a social game. Little did she know that it would work against her because of everyone's expectations. Had Lil been
able to play like Sandra and the "as long as it isn't me" mantra, she'd have done a lot better. The second she had to play the game, she was
done for...

Counter Todd's win with Hatch's win...

Well there have been plenty of players that had terrible social games. I guess the question is : has there ever been anyone in the final 2(or 3) that played in
such a manner that they were not going to win?
Russell obviously is on the list. I would put Matt Von Erstad of Amazon on the list- A nice guy, but his "I'm Dumb" strategy was not the kind you wanted to claim you deserve to be the sole survivor with. Kim Johnson also- while her strategy certainly got herself into the final 2, it was done in such a way that she only REALLY got the 1 vote (even though she got two) and both of those votes nearly went to Ethan. Heidik did not play as good a social game as we are led to believe- While he may have won, it was only a 4/3 vote. Let's not forget that. Both Ted and Helen have stated they would not have voted for him based on what they saw on the show; and Heidik did not seem to REALLY reach out to Erin/Ken/Penny, which could have easily cost him the game. Lillian also played a terrible social game- she was oblivious to how people did not like her or her status from the Outcast tribe. She and Burton also needed to talk to each other and realize this and that both of theirs best chances at winning involved keeping the other in the game, so it is not all her. Twila, Katie, Dreamz, Cassandra, were all finalists that played well enough to get themselves into the final 2/3, but not in a manner that they had a chance of winning the game and also fell into the failed finalists stages. |

Tijuana got a fair amount of crap for voting for Snad-ra and defended her vote by saying Lill gave an answer that deserved a vote whereas Snad-ra didn't...which was the truth. But a lot of people were ticked off by the Outcast twist and Lill had no chance anyway. |

Does that make Lil unlikeable as a person, or Lil unlikeable for things out of her control?

They disliked her for benefitting from the Outcast twist but except for Rupert they didn't like her as a person either. It was wierd at the finale, Andrew
Savage got hurt the worst by Lill's involvement in the Outcast twist and he was the nicest one to her.

Yet Andrew was the most vocal about making sure she was gone asap. It was weird. I don't think it was all that fair that she was in the game either, but
you play by the rules the game throws at you. I still profess that playing the game in the uniform is what killed her.

losing the first 3 IC's is what got Lill voted out when she did. Lill did not actually "cost" them anything and never did anything but work hard
in camp, and yes Ostyn was a viable alternative to Lill being voted out, but the fact is that Lill got voted out due to Morgan's tribes lack of success vs
Drake tribe.
After Lill was voted out, Morgan tribe pulled off 3 IC wins and were able to even things up with Drake before the Outcast Tribe switch, and Savage tried to tell that to Lill how hard they fought to get back into the game, but it was to no avail at that point. Lill was mad, wanted to get back at the tribe that voted her out and we all know the rest. |
