Besides, being able to watch and chat with friends is what makes jtv different. It's not replacing DVD sales. If anything it promotes them. |

CBS isn't too cheap to release the seasons. Have you seen what kind of obscure shows get released? Survivor fans are the worst in that they are conniving
and deceitful in real life as well, so they steal the product rather than honestly buying it. It's why we haven't gotten anymore since Vanuatu or
whatever.

CBS realized this, and because it's a for-profit business, didn't go to the trouble of spending money on packaging, marketing, and DVD pressing, just to let the things collect dust until they're dumped into the clearance bin. Hell, I recorded Australia and Africa on VHS, and tossed those tapes long ago realizing they weren't going to get any replay. Same thing applies to "Amazing Race" - it's an Emmy winner, but only a handful of seasons are available on DVD. Or are Amazing Race fans also conniving and deceitful in real life? |
