The dumbest move of the season has to go to John for targetting Monica/Laura at the final 12, for no reason other than to "break up their alliance", which A. resulted in Erik going home against John's wishes, and B. resulted in a fracturing of the already unstable Galu tribe that they never recovered from.

I dont really agree with John changing his vote being on this. I mean, if your not immune, its not worth it IMO. Vote out Laura, automatic round in the game. Force a tie, you could go home. The numbers would be 5-4, and Galu would only have convince Shambo to come back, or make a Foa Foa Flip. That probably wouldnt have happened, but its not impossible.
What I say is stupider is the remaining Galu voting off John with the FF4, or John just trusting Russell. Had John let them in on the supposed plan, or they voted Mick with him(idr what happened- he didnt tell them, or they wanted to vote him off), it could have forced a tie that may force Shambo or Russell to flip, which I think is entirely possible if their asses were on the line. Or maybe the Dave, Monica, and Brett NOT trying hard enough to bring Shambo back over after the FF4 lied to her about the vote. IDK, I think Galu's 100000 times of NOT capitalizing on gaining the numbers back is stupider than John changing his vote. |

I hate to say it, but every since Fiji, we've had a string of horrible, horrible moves. Looking at the past five seasons, I can't think of much in the olden days of Survivor that was truly this bad and continuing...
China: James not playing the idols; Courtney/Amanda keeping Todd over Denise Micronesia: Ozzy and the idol; Jason throwing the challenge; Jason and the idol; Erik and his immunity Gabon: Kenny believing Bob/Corinne's idol story without proof; Sugar mutilating her remnants of an end-game Tocantins: Really the only season without any huge fuck-ups... besides Brendan not playing the idol and everyone letting JT win Samoa: Galu imploding; John switching his vote from Natalie to Laura; Russell killing his end-game And now, the past three weeks just seem to be setting the stage to a series of fuck-ups on Micronesia proportions. I mean, seriously, looking back, sure there were a few shit-tastic moves in All-Stars, definitely some in Africa, and others here and there. But the past five seasons of Survivor and this current one just seem to be a never-ending clusterfuck of poor decisions which is, occasionally (see: tonight), painful to sit through. Do we blame Lynn for this? |
