I can't think of a best at the moment but I wanted to warn you all about a worst.
Stay far far away from "Night Work" by Thomas Glavinic. Biggest waste of time ever. |

I don't even really love sci fi, and I thought it was great. Enjoy!

I can't remember any good books I've read this year, but without a doubt the four worst books i read this year were the Twilight ones. Ugh.

fast.

You know how I said I had a tie for best book? They tied for second place. My favorite was "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society". My
sister-in-law reminded me New Years that I had recommended it to her.

Best: Brother Odd
Worst: The Lost Symbol It took me 3 months to finish The Lost Symbol. Pretty sad when I read all of his other books in less than 3 days each. |

I'll never get how Dan Brown is popular when everyone on here and everyone I talk to about books in rl, thinks he's terrible.

best- The Road, although i think it's been around for a while
worst - i started this Under The Dome thing by Stephen King and I just can't get into it. Doubt I'll bother. Also a book called 'this Is Where I Leave You' that tried way too hard. i have never read a dan brown book. |

It's hard to remember what I read this year, but recently read Stephen Kings-Duma Key-and I liked it.
Also finally got around to reading the follow up to Pillars of The Earth (Follett) called World Without End. It was okay. |

Liked: Diane Setterfield, The Thirteenth Tale and Stieg Larsson, The Girl Who Played
With Fire.
Disappointed with: Dan Brown, The Lost Symbol and Preston/Child, Cemetery Dance. Couldn't finish: Steve Martini, The List. eta: I can't spell.
