OK. I have made a rankings system for Samoa. It goes into three main groups
- Strategic Game
Outwit
Alliance Strategy
Voting Strategy
General Strategy
- Social Game
- Physical Game
Individual Challenges
Outplay
Picked for Challenges
This all adds up to a BASE SCORE, which is a score which is later revised to make it a little more even for pre jurors.
Added onto the base score
- Jury Placing
- Subtraction of votes against (This is halved for pre jury members)
- Addition of a rankings scheme, with everyone gaining the average total figure (20.98) every episode they were out of the show.
- Addition of Power Rankings (20 = most powerful, 1 = least)
The average BASE SCORE is 14.9
The average FINAL SCORE is 444.387
The person in 20th position had a base score which placed them 7th, but due to poor rankings, it affected their final score.

Ranking Score: 261.82 (20/20) D
Votes Score: 9/2 = 4.5 (Pre jurors get theirs cut in half in a season like this) C
Power Scale: 4/20 (16/20) D
Total Score: 278.32 (20/20) D
Yes, Ashley finished dead last, unfortunately for her. She had a really good base score, placing her 7th, but her ranking score, pulled her down hugely, even
with the average boost everyone gets when they are out of the game of 20.9 per episode it still wasn't enough. Having no power at Foa Foa due to the
dominance of the Foa Foa Four, didn't help her Power Scale Ranking either, as she only got 4 out of a possible 20.

Wow! I can already tell you this list will come down to an argument on whether the Creep was robbed or he was the greatest player ever.
For now, all I got was: "Ashley, she's 7th but I didn't really like her so I developed this stupid mathematical formula that gives her last place like she deserves." Am I close? |

To be fair, I can understand Ashley as a low choice. She wasn't that great in challenges, she was an early boot, and she was basically the decoy or actual
boot for 3/4 of her tribe's tribal councils that she attended. Even someone like Mike wasn't targetted at the first tribal council.

This thread is going to start some fights when it gets down to the end, and just another thread where a Russ fan is going to try in justify why Natalie
shouldnt have won and why Russell should have. But who cares? Natalie won, which makes her number 1 in the ranking of Samoa players.

The whole intention of Samoa was to shove Russell down our throats, but due to his newfound cult status and immunity run, Brett became the co-star, especially here at Sucks and online. Italics mine. Come on people, the topic creator doesn't sound like a Russell fan. It took me like two minutes to look at their profile and find this in another topic. |

OK, Lot of flaming there. I think that Russell is a great player. He turned an 8-4 deficit into a 3-1 lead at Final Four. The seasons where that has been done were Marquesas (and let's face it, the Rotu 4 did get cocky) and Vanuatu. But however, I don't respect certain things he did in the game, especially in the first episode. So I'm not a fan of him. As for Mike Borassi... IN 19TH PLACE MIKE BORASSI
