19. Old School (2003)

I love Will Ferrell movies, and it was so tough not to include Elf on this list as well. Old School was a hilarious comedy just in terms of straight-up slapstick kinda stuff. Vince Vaughn is really good at that darker comedy angle, and I loved some of his phrases from the movie, like "Earmuffs" whenever he wanted to swear around his kid. Gratuitous nudity was nice to have as well, plus you've gotta love the old college movie plot with some stingy dean having a grudge and getting owned at the end because of it. The ways they all passed the tasks set before them was hilarious, especially the fat, black guy having to do the vault part of gymnastics, and a burned Will Ferrell having to do ribbon dancing, or whatever. Good comedy, not good enough to rank higher.

16. 9 (2009)

Yeah, this movie was too short, and that's a major part of why it ranks so low, but otherwise, I really loved 9. I love movies that have a strong female protagonist, and no, that's not even meant to be a dig at Elijah Wood as 9 himself, I'm talking about 7, who is a total warrior %!+*#!$. The world was so complex and developed, and I just really enjoyed such a simple story of nine little creations being made to fight against an evil machine, and they managed to take it down, using the weapons left behind by man. The only sad thing was the fact that 2 and 5 both died, because they were such nice little Stitchpunks, especially compared to 1 and 8, who deserved to go, IMHO.

15. Smokin' Aces (2007)

Holy crap this movie was fuckin' badass. I literally just watched it New Years Eve because we were having a party and I was sick of playing Rock Band. Anyway, you've gotta love a movie where just a bunch of random shit goes down and people get shot the fuck up. I loved the different, interlocking storyline, and I liked how they made each of the assassins unique in some way. I would rank them Soot ('cause seriously, he disguised himself as a paraplegic rastafarian) > Georgia/Her Lesbian Friend ('cause Alicia Keys is hot) > Pasquale ('cause he's played by Richard from LOST and he's just one suave motherfucker) > Tremor Brothers ('cause honestly, I couldn't tell them apart sometimes that they were just the comic relief). The stories were interwoven so well and the twist ending was amazing and so beautiful to watch, so top fifteen, congrats.

13. Superbad (2007)

You've always gotta love the teen comedy, because they're usually the same exact plot of high school boys trying to get laid by girls who are WAY out of their leagues in terms of appearance. Superbad did that, and made the boys such losers that they didn't even get laid, and in fact only wound up with a happy ending (not trying to make a pun) because of random chance and basically Michael Cera being unable to be a bad guy. McLovin and his storyline were absolutely hilarious, especially once the cops got involved, because those guys were completely incompetent, and it was funny because they were breaking the laws themselves in order to help out these dorky kids that just wanted to get laid. So many great moments in this movie and it saddens me to have only seen it one time.

11. WALL-E (2008)

I didn't see WALL-E during its original showing in theaters, and I only watched it for the first time around Christmastime, when my stepdad got a copy on DVD. Anyway, I watched it, and it was just such a cute and touching film. I thought it was just about robots, but even though humans were introduced, they were interesting characters. The relationship between WALL-E and EVA was so adorable as she was cold and uncaring at first, and all WALL-E wanted to do was hold her hand, and then she grew to love him after she realized he had spent so long protecting her on earth, and she even repaired him when they finally got back to earth. I cried at the ending of WALL-E because it was just so beautiful, and it's a shame that I liked ten movies more, or else it would've made the top 10.
