It pissed me off that his wife was just like "Oh well, he keeps giving them all the money, nothing I can do about it." I wanted to slap that woman.

I am outraged that no one has beaten the shit out of her for being such a dumb cow.
I think the booze has softened her brain to the point of liquidity. I just watched the part where her mother said her daughter was brought back by the Devil. Ok, I think I know why she drinks like a 3 dollar whore.

Did anyone else watch the cutter/alcoholic/anorexic? OMG - that poor girl. Part of me though questioned her and her story. You were molested? Why only tell 1
friend? Doesn't anyone else know? I wanted to call bullshit, but who knows??

OMG when they showed the blood I wasn't expecting it. She was weird though, and I didn't like that her ugly, alcoholic fat friend was at the
intervention like she didn't have a problem.
They need to come up w/ some better lines for the intervention letters: "If you do not decide to seek help today.." "This wonderful opportunity.." "Love" "Your behavior has affected me negatively in the following ways:" |

Yes, the letters drive us mad also. They always start out the same exact way: "your behavior has affected you/me in..." Enough already! Time for new
letters.
Her fat friend needs help as much as her. I didn't get the deal with the boyfriend, I don't think he knew about everything when she moved in. Then he was like WTF did I get into. Where did the daughter live? It said she moved out of her parents house with the girl, but it didn't look like the daughter lived at that house. |

i couldn't watch her cutting. from the glimpses i caught before turning away, it seemed very precise and maybe more deliberate/controlled than other
cutters i've seen on tv.

The cutting was incredibly difficult to watch. I did notice though that both times they showed it, it was the same scene. But yeah, watching it was really
awful and I'm sincerely happy that Amy seems to be getting her life in order. She was so ungodly miserable and really did need to be "Smart Amy."

Her dad was a dick. If your kid tries to kill herself and instead of thinking "Hey, maybe we should get her some help" your reaction is "Go
upstairs and do it right", you should probably not be a parent.

I agree, but at the same time - I can understand his complete frustration with her and it was probably one of those things he didn't really mean. People at
the bottom are NOT likeable for the most part. They've hurt anyone and everyone.

Yeah its that bitch Candy Finnegan and that skinny meth addict dude interventionist that always has the "affected me negatively in the following ways" letters. Did anyone watch last night's episode of the oxycontin massage parlor lady? It's on the ae website, and I didn't find it in any way depressing at all. Standard bitch who got knocked up and become a hooker and lost her kid and has a sugar daddy and cries and complains about no one being there for her. Her brother was fucking HOT though.. |

I watched last night. That sugar daddy was pretty gross. He was ancient & owned a strip club. I got the ookies watching him. No wonder her family hated
him. It's like he was taking advantage of her situation.
Glad she got away from his old ass & is doing better. |

I am finally watching the one with the adopted heroin addict.
I understand his sense of alienation as an adoptee. But his selfishness was so frustrating. And the Dad! I wanted to punch him in the face for the sinner comment. A huge fuck you would have come out of my mouth at that. |

Did anyone watch last night? What happened w/jackie, the alcoholic who only wanted to go to treatment if her daughter came back to live with her, but finally
succumb to her family's intervention? And ditto her nephew. My DVR cut off before the program ended and stopped just as the nephew was being admitted to
his treatment center. Did jackie get and stay sober?
