KILL HIM NOW!! kthx Ashley - She would probably annoy the hell outta me in real life. But for the show she's one of the more entertaining ones. Mike - Seems nice enough. Erika - Boring for now but if the rumors of her being a psycho bitch are true then I'll probably like her. (PS: Her singing sucks) Ty - Drama Queen. Cali, Josh, Emily - Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. |

Andrew must have some real issues-- he can be really charming, but he covers it up with his ridiculous "fun-person" persona. Ty needs to learn to
let others have their own beliefs, even when he disagrees, and Ashley needs to quit eavesdropping.
Still, the first episode had me excited for the first time in 10-12 seasons... the cast looks pretty normal and thoughtful, at least for a Real World cast. |

Why has it taken them so long to get to DC. Isn't this like Real World number 30?

No. It's not #30. Not even close. So they made it early!

Supposedly the producers said they would never use DC when a Republican was president. Doesn't explain why they didn't do DC before 2001 when Clinton
was in office.

I always thought that they hadn't done DC because it wasn't as party-oriented as other cities (NY, LA, New Orleans, Miami, even Boston, which has tons
of college kids). It seems like they're half-heartedly trying to get away from the party-kid image of the show, which may be why they're making this
season focus more on various issues and politics in general.

I think they are just alternating between showing seasons with people who have aspirations and viewpoints and seasons with trashy drunk sluts.

I liked the opener, very much, at least in the first half hour. Obviously Andrew is on air to be crowned a fool's king and Ty and Bi knew they had to get
some conflict on film within the opening 24 hours, which the meddlesome peacemaking chick that's not as cute as Ericka glommed onto.
I couldn't take more than 15 minutes of Cancun and more recently Jersey Shore. These people I could watch for another ep or two. |

I'd imagine thanks to Jersey Shore's existence that Real World will now only focus on casts with aspirations and viewpoints from now on. or is that too
much to ask?

Bump for the new episode tonight.
Ew @ it all being clubs & showmances thus far. Andrew/Callie, Mike/Ashley, Ty/Emily. Lulz that sets the stage for Josh/Erika. And which one of the girls was bi, or at least said they had a girlfriend or something? I vaguely remember it from the premiere... was it Ashley or Emily? Lulz if it's Ashley, cause she's macking on Mike. |

I think it was Emily, but I'm not sure since I can't keep remember who's who yet.

eps almost over and josh only had the scene at the begining where ashley says hes the guy that doesnt fight with anyone and says lets all be openminded. oh and
he also shoved cupcake in mikes mouth. he is fairly prominent in the daily clips...it sucks that there shoving these boring relationships down our throats.
more josh please.

Okay, I thought it was Emily but wasn't positive. I get her & Ashley confused (by looks, definitely not by personality) but Emily's the hotter one
and Ashley looks like Rachel from Glee.

Seriously boring episode. The previews for next episode look contrived, I'm sure it will be a snoozefest.

This Andrew person tries way too hard and it's a shame because he thinks he's funny.
