I gave Grechen, Michelle and Andrew a go in my 2nd chance because I feel they were screwed by unexpected twists (Michelle and Andrew) or unexpected developments (Gretchen).

With regards to Elisabeth it was mainly naivitie in trusting Tina and not flipping with Roger and Amber. I agree it wasn't that idiotic but I was
struggling to think of another female for that spot if truth be told (Am probably missing something real obvious)

I dont know a single person who has ever considered Elisabeth's gameplay as stupid. How would you put her there over Kimmi (who told Tina about Jeff's
vote) or Shii Ann (I'm jumping at merge I'm jumping at merge I'm jumping at merge uh oh)

Gee, let's align with Ogakor's power players, helping them cinch their majority while voting out the annoying people, knowing that once it's all
done, I'll be outnumbered 3-2 against a physically dominant player who's been winning challenge after challenge.
Yeah, real smart. |

Yall are only hating on her because of what she does on The View. Season 2 was when tribal loyalty meant EVERYTHING and Elisabeth had a segment where she was
trying to swing Amber's vote, but she didn't budge. She basically played it out exactly how Colleen did...just hoping for opportunities because the
stick-to-your-tribe mentality was too strong to make opportunities.
Now it's off topic though. On topic...this show is failing so hard, I'm so happy Big Brother is going to outlast it <333. |

If you're referring to episode 10, it was Elisabeth commenting that Ogakor diluted it's powers and now Amber has it. Followed by Elisbabeth not saying a word to Amber about it, and Amber questioning Kucha's trustworthyness. And Elisabeth was never on Tina, Colby, or Keith's tribe so there's no tribal loyalty there. She played a retarded game, but she was likable. |

Yes, the 5-5 tribal vote split at the merge did not show any evidence of tribal loyalty whatsoever. wtf did you expect her to do when Ogakor was playing by the
numbers, voting off one of their own when they'd have a 2 person advantage? How is it anymore Elisabeth's fault that Amber wouldn't budge than
Amber's? Elisabeth never "aligned" with Tina/Colby/Keith, they said here's an opportunity...take it or go home before Rodger on our chopping
block.

Wait, didn't Amber try to get Elizabeth/Rodger/Nick to vote with her after Jerri got the boot? Am I imagining this?

Yes, you are. Amber thought she and Colby were going to the finals so she didn't bother trying to make any other deals

In the dvd commentaries Rodger said Amber tried and everyone was down but Elisabeth wouldnt do it or something.

Even if thats true, you can't put her on the "terrible horrible stupid mistake" tribe without it being in the episodes and justify it by saying
"you should have bought the dvd's and saw the commentary to know why".

A lot of players out there said that Elisabeth was playing a lot harder than it showed. And Amber even said that she wouldnt have aligned with Rodger and Elisabeth because she couldnt trust them. |

I actually like this idea! It is always interesting to see how players will play differently if given a second chance i.e Parvati.

I could see a Celebrity edition happening (they did do one in Australia) but a "second chance" season is just beyond fantarded.

Maybe one would be a Man vs. Woman season, the last one was six years ago.

There has been talk about Probst wanting to do something similiar for a long time though.

Another interesting plot that I would like to see for Season 22 would be to bring back past pairs. For example... Bring back JT/Stephen, Russell/Ratalie,
Kenny/Crystal, Catalie/Alexis, Todd/Courtney (just to avoid Amanda), Erik/Jaime, Yul/Becky, Steph/Rafe, Katie/Ian, Greg/Jenn, etc. Despite there likely being a
lot of overlap with Heroes vs. Villains contestants... I would love to see some of these duos come back for season 22. However.. I think it will be too soon
after this coming season.

Kirblar wrote:Yeah, I kind of hate this idea for a lot of reasons. The only pro is (obviously) that it increases the chances of any given favorite past contestant to return, and if Kelly G and Sean R come back, I'll be all about this. But the cons totally outweigh that: -Takes away the novelty of returning player seasons. -Will lead to even more frustration if people like Twila and Terry continue getting passed over. -Say goodbye to casts with less than 20 people. Even though Jeff openly said the producers prefer 16, they'll stick with 20 because the number of new contestants in a year will be reduced from 32 minimum. They will say this is because they want as many people to get a chance to play as possible. In essence, even if they somehow do scrape up a good cast of new players, we'll never be able to tell because the editors will be forced to deal with 20 (more accurately, 2-3). Also, say goodbye to the final two, because unless someone gets evacuated after the jury starts forming, 20 people means F3. As long as they vary up the themes (i.e. not just straightforward, here are 20 people who made it far enough to be considered All-Stars) and don't make them too cheesy (as compelling as Blondes vs. Brunettes would be, we're already seeing the Candice/Danielle match-up this season which will probably be too much excitement to handle as is), whatever. I mean, I know I'll look forward to seeing favorites return no matter what but I think it's going to ruin the series in other ways. I get the argument that it's better than one season a year or no seasons at all, but I don't even know if I agree anymore. Is it going to be worth it if all we're going to get from here on out will be crap seasons like Samoa and then retreads? Who even cares if they location is the same? They don't need to utilize returning contestants or some stupid gimmick twist. Just do like S7/S12 and S10/S16 and call the same location something different. (Yes, I realize that S12 and S16 did a stupid gimmick twist and had returning players respectively. But even if they hadn't, they could've been called Survivor: Panama and Survivor: Micronesia and most viewers wouldn't have batted an eye.) |

Second Chance would be amazing.
Instead of reusing contestants, I can totally see CBS thinking they can get away with shit like streetsmarts vs. booksmarts (ala Apprentice, but that worked) or north v. south v. east v. west or Secret Partners and pretending like the twist outshadows the entire location (of course until the inevitable episode 3 tribe swap). |
