Apparently Crystal was generally quite soft-spoken and shy. Obviously not at Tribal though.

I've spoken to Dan (Gabon) via Facebook. I never got the impression he is 'shy' or insecure . I got the feeling through the show that he wanted to
get in with the 'cool' crowd when he switched tribes, which means he isn't a shy/insecure person, just someone who needs to be around
athletic/popular people to feel better about himself. Basically a beta, not an alpha male.
