The good thing about Natalie winning is that it gives a shot at the females evening up the winner score again. ^_^ Yay!

Natalie was the first time in so long (since PI?) that whoever I wanted to win in the finale actually won. <3

#17 up! I'm really excited about the HvV cast and can't wait to get to my thoughts on the cast <3
Sean R., Survivor: Marquesas (5th place) Sean's one of two players from Marquesas in this thread, and he's by far to me one of the funniest Survivor contestants ever. IMO, he really shoulda been cast on one of the three ASS seasons *Sarah gracefully approaches the shore on the raft, telling the Maraamu worker bees to row faster* (lol ok not really >_>) Sean: This is SURVIVOR! AINT NOBODY GONNA LOOK AT YOU LIKE THAT! alol <3 Sean had so many great moments, where it feels like there's so many that I don't even remember them all. Sean's relationship with Paschal is one of the more dynamic alliances ever, IMO, being two totally different people, and those two going on reward together and seeing them bond was really nice. Which also contained the scene of Sean riding on the back of a...was it a camel? And hurting his jewels in the process >_> Neleh and Paschal return back to camp from their reward on a yacht, where Neleh takes a mint out of her mouth and asks the 4 or 5 contestants left if they want some, followed by Sean saying via confessional: That's like askin' someone, you want this piece of doodoo?! Sean's an underrated player and I think he had a pretty good grip on the game's dynamics while he was out there. The TC that Sean got voted out in was one of the most epic TCs ever, coincidence? I think not ^_^ Sean was a big part of why that TC was so entertaining. Next update:

Always bet on black... Sean <3 The fact that he still hasn't returned as an All-Star is a travesty.

Sean R is in my top 10, maybe even top 5 of all time. Glad to see him on this ranking ^_^ but wtf he was so robbed of an ASS/HvV spot

I love the Marquesas tribal council. The waves crashing in the background were really a nice touch.

Natalie <333 She became my favou of Samoa after she got her first confessional of the season! (...in the fourth episode) I thought her win was a breath of
fresh air, and actually kinda obvious if you weren't just looking at numbers and visibilities (aka edgic), but with the storyline. Erik's speech to her
was epic and she became the first woman to win in a F3.. against two men too! She's truly the sunshine of Samoa <3
And I <3 Sean too! Marquesas really had some great characters and Sean's towards the top of them. I'd love to see a more grown-up, matured version of Sean play again to see if he has the same passion and soulfulness =D |

great personality |

Marquesas' f5 tc is probably my fave non-final tc. So epic!

New update! Here's #16:
Jonathan P., Survivor: Cook Islands (7th place), Survivor: Micronesia (15th, taken out of game) This might be a surprising one, but in CI the editing was...er, quite S19-esque >_> in the sense that we didn't get to know too many of the contestants, and Jonathan shined as one of the few players to have a story. Plus, he sided with aitu 4 at the merge ^_^ (a player from the Aitu4 will appear later on in this ranking.) Jonathan already started off the game in hot water, taking a chicken. After getting swapped to Aitu, he and Candice made an alliance with Yul and Becky before the infamous mutiny =O where Candice and Jonathan then flipped back to Raro. I'm not sure if this was a good move for Jonathan, because while he would have been more vulnerable without Candice there, he could've still been loyal to Yul and Becky, having a good shot at making the merge and having an "in' with them, maybe even making final 5 or final 4. But on the flip side he could've flipped to Raro a few rounds into the merge, having a good shot at getting further as well. Anywho, after Candice mutinied, Jonathan followed, since Candice was his closest ally. However, Raro didn't really do a good job of making Jonathan feel comfortable and he flipped to Aitu, officially flipping on everyone in the entire game, perhaps a first =O Jonathan went out 7th, while Parvati and Adam told Yul they'd vote for him in the end if they outlasted Jonathan in the game. Fast-forward to Micronesia where Jonathan was a part of the epic JAYE alliance, and being in a relatively good position in his tribe 'till Cirie sided with the "couples alliance". Although I was by far rooting for JAYE between the two alliances, I think Cirie siding with the opposing alliance was probably the better move for her game. Jonathan was suddenly in a not very good position, but the swap benefited both him and Eliza. I'm not sure if Natalie/Alexis were really with Jonathan/Eliza or Parvati/Amanda, but the game would've been changed quite a bit, I imagine, if Jonathan stuck around. Jonathan getting taken out of the game was sad On top of being a good player, Jonathan was witty and had plenty of fun moments in both seasons <333 Next update:

Yeah, Jonathan sucked as a player, but he was still awesome as a character and as a personality. I wish he came back for s20 instead of stupid Russell.

I think Micronesia Jonathan would've done well. Even if he didn't go as far as he did in CI, his game (at least at that point) was IMO stronger than it
was in CI.

SurvivorFanGP wrote:I don't think it was really that hard for Jonathan to top his shitty game in Cook Islands, but I'm not even sure he did that great of a job in Micronesia. I mean, I'm sure there were other factors in Cirie not voting with JAYE but the way Jonathan talked to her doesn't seem like a way to make people want to vote with you. I mean, the entire episode he was acting like such a condescending douchebag, I don't know how he was surprised she didn't vote with him. Apparently Natalie didn't care for him much while they were on NuAirai together. I like Jonathan for what he brings to the show but in my opinion, he's one of the shittiest when it comes to actually dealing with other people. |

Jonathan's another one of my favourites, it was sad to see him go out the way he did the second time. It's a shame he wasn't on Heroes vs Villians
but he would have it tough with Parvati there.
I think Cirie siding with the opposing alliance was probably the better move for her game.I love Cirie but I actually think her pre merge game was kinda...average? With JAYE she had a Final 3 with Ami/Eliza and a secret Final 2 with Yau Man but she only had a Final 3 with Couples that Amanda wouldn't have held to. I also think she benefitted the most from Micro's Quits/Evacs after Parvati did. Jonathan's main game weakness is his social game IMO, which is what makes him a target. Whilst we know now that Candice intended him to be in the finals with her, we also know she never relayed this fact to him. It's understandable that he flipped since the only endgame plan he got offered was by Yul, and he was facing an uphill battle no matter who he sided with. Overall I think he's a rational strategist but has some struggles with the rationalisations of other players. I think I know who's next, which means another one of my favourites is on here <3 |
