he was a tough competitor and only singled out because they thought that "the law girl" wasn't strong. Based on the Insiders, Brooke was voted out precisely because she was thought of as the biggest threat from oldNakum. The whole Nakum alliance got ignored on the show itself (presumably in order to make Judd switching seem like more a douchebag move, than a completely necessary strategic move for someone who was on the chopping block). |

If remember correctly Brooke was in tight alliance with Danni, Brendan, Bobby Jon and Margret. I am not sure but i think Blake because of his illness, Cyndi
and Judd were outs. Had the tribe never been shuffled, nakum would probably continued to dominate yaxha tribe. If Nakum had lost one or two imunity challenges.
They would have voted out Judd and then Blake. However i am 100% certain Nakum would have merged with a bigger number of castways. Most likely Brooke, Danni,
Margret, Brendan, Bobby Jon and Cindy versus Gary, Amy, Steph and probarly Rafa or Brian.

Guatemala is probably the one season I want to re-watch the least. It's not bad, just very "bleh" to me.

Guatemala would have been great season if they hadn't shuffled the tribe. I really liked original nakum tribe. Danni, Brendan, Brooke and Bobby Jon in
final four is a lot better then having Steph, Rafa, Lydia in final 4.

I'm glad I am not the only one who loved this season. I wish it would be released on DVD. With every episode having commentary from Bobby Jon, Jamie, Judd,
gary, and Brian. it would be a total Stephme bashfest.

I also thought that Guatemala was probably one of the best seasons in making challenges.
Their challenges were pretty diverse. I loved the mile trek challenge and the basketball challenge. They also revamped the boulder challenge, which I thought was even better than in Africa. -They were also the first season to have an auction, where you could bid for an advantage in the immunity challenge. |
