He was a way more impressive player than Natalie, but Natalie won fair and square. The only recent finalist I feel was TRULY robbed was poor Susie . Fucking Bob </3. At least Natalie had intentions of getting to the end.

Sandra understands one component of this game that others still don't seem to grasp: All you have to do is be the last person standing. OUTLAST. And it sure helps if you're standing next to someone at the final two that everyone hates. If Sandra gets to the final three with Parvati and Russell, that's genius play. Natalie was terrible at verbalizing this strategy in S19. The difference is Sandra actually makes a good argument for the strategy that always sways juries.

Posts: 6 (01/10/10 05:23 AM) More Recent Posts	To be fair, playing under the radar (in the manner of Susie, Natalie) is an adept strategy for getting to the finals, but I don't think it's one that should be rewarded by an actual win. If the cast of Samoa respected the game enough they would have given it to Russell - I don't really feel like Natalie won fair and square. I hope Sandra plays a more aggressive game - I loved her on Pearl Islands and she deserved the win with her jury performance, although it was luck that she was sat to who she was sat next to. But it's nice to see good strategy rewarded - I think that's why Micronesia was so brilliant to watch since they really played in the spirit of the game.

Look at it this way, who's a bigger player than Russell Hantz going into this season? Nobody is, I don't see anyone else getting more camera time than Russell. As for Sandra, that's the only strategy she can do, ride coattails and stay the hell out of the way of everyone else..

You couldn't have said it any better, it's a rip-off when someone like Natalie wins over a player like Russell who dominated the game from start to finish, it's like rewarding a bum for doing nothing pretty much.

That's a shame, that the Jury would not vote for the best player being Russell because he was cocky and arrogant, a weak Jury IMO. The only instance he "sh!t' on a jury member as you say was when he taunted Laura at Tribal which they didn't show. Again, his overall gameplay should've been enough.

Posts: 196 (01/10/10 04:22 PM) More Recent Posts	If I'm not mistaken, I read somewhere that Sandra will not be like Natalie was in Samoa (she won't be UTR for the majority of the game). Besides, in Pearl Islands she was with two of the biggest characters (at the time) in Survivor history (with Rupert and JFP) and she wasn't ignored at all. Besides, minus maybe one or two exceptions (mainly Shambo who may not be liked, but was unique), the majority of the longer-lasting Samoa contestants weren't very entertaining and the ones with potential were gone relatively early. This time, Russell will be with bigger characters (sadly Rupert, Sandra, Jerri, etc.) than he was in Samoa, so in my mind, the chances of it being the Russell-show again are slim to none (not that he won't get facetime- he will, but so will Sandra, so will Parvati, and so will some of the other bigger characters that according to various spoilers don't make it to the end) Last Edited By: MMan9000 01/10/10 04:24 PM.
