People ExclusiveHousewives' Bethenny Frankel Is PregnantOriginally posted Tuesday October 20, 2009 12:30 PM EDT Bethenny Frankel, who got engaged to her boyfriend Jason Hoppy earlier this month, is pregnant with her first child she tells PEOPLE exclusively.Although The Real Housewives of New York City star had hoped to wait until she was further along to break the news, online buzz on PerezHilton.com caused her to reveal that she's roughly two months pregnant. "It's premature to be telling people this," she tells PEOPLE while fighting back @@*!@. Though she knows she can hardly keep secrets now that she's a reality star, Frankel, 38, says she'd hoped to keep the news private a bit longer. "It's not like, 'Did I Get Botox?' It's not the way I wanted it to get out," she says. "I haven't even gone through my first trimester. We haven't even heard the heartbeat. My [fiancé's] parents didn't even know." She and Hoppy are "both so excited," says Frankel. Still, she adds that because the pregnancy is early, "I am praying everything is okay but I don't know that yet." Surprise Baby NewsFrankel, who met Hoppy at the nightclub Tenjune 11 months ago, says she's thrilled to have found The One. "We were both complete players. We never thought we would find the right person."As for getting pregnant before tying the knot, she says, "I'm no spring chicken. I didn't think it was going to happen right away. Because of my age, sometimes we weren't totally careful." But she admits, "I got to be honest, we are both feeling kind of proud of ourselves. We are both 38 and we were like, 'Listen, your fish can swim and I am fertile.' So that's exciting." The couple plans to wed before she has the baby. Explains Frankel, "Because of my age, it's not like I was going to meet a boy, and then be engaged for a year and then be married for a year before we started trying [to have kids] ... I'd be 45." She describes the way things have unfolded as "like the Triple Crown. I got engaged, we got pregnant and we're gonna get married. It's a miracle." CravingsAnd while she's less than two months into the pregnancy, Frankel says she's already experiencing a change in her appetite."I'm hungry in a way that is not negotiable," she says. "I'm not eating tremendous amount but if I am hungry, I will stab someone for food." She even ate a jar of pickles before she'd taken her pregnancy test. "That's so cliché," she says. "I just want salt. Salt on everything." I am so disappointed in her......she didn't even wait to get married....slut!!! |

She knows abortions are still legal, right? Or maybe she could give it to Silex.

She's wanted to have a kid for forever. I'm happy for her.

I'm happy for her. I just hope some guy named "Hoppy" is a better person than his name might imply.

Weird as it sounds, I'm more happy about the pregnancy than the marriage. I think she really, really wanted a baby. Whereas I won't be shocked if the
marriage is done in a year. I think she'll be a fun mom. Although, that kid's going to be sneaking Twinkies and Doritos by the time it's 4 years
old.

This might be old news. Sounds like Bethenny is still filming with the other NY house fraus. (Although.. I didn't see any mention in the article about
what's happening with the new ladies nor if there had been any sightings of the Cuntress.)

So I was perusing awfulplasticsurgery today and they brought up an interesting point. Kelly was supposed to be on Dec.'s Playboy but isn't. They say
that she is rumored to have been getting her tits fixed. Here's the post from the site:
But where are Kelly Bensimon's Playboy photos?
The December issue of Playboy that was supposed to have featured Kelly Bensimon is currently out and there is no sign of Kelly in the magazine. Could the rumor that Kelly was getting new breast implants be true? Hmmm.. She could definitely use a new pair. Just to refresh your memory, Kelly's breasts really looked like pecs. They had the usual tell tale breast implants huge gap in between them…
Kelly Bensimon neglecting to dress her age, you can see her undies here!

This is very belated, but I'm happy for Bethenny. She's been saying how she has wanted a kid for so long, so it's nice that it's finally
happening for her.
I'm thrilled that all the ladies have returned for the third season, but they don't need those two recurring women. I think all six women make for good TV, so I hope that some don't get ignored. Seasons one and two were both excellent, though, so I still have high hopes for this one. |

That art show sounds pretty good. I wondered why some producer hasn't come up with something like it for years.
But, Christ, I hate that horse-faced SJP. |

Sounds like one of the new wives might step on a lot of toes this season, should be interesting. She travels in high society and hob nobs with royalty (the
countess's' territory) was an ex model (kelly and luann), worked in the restaurant biz as a consultant and mgr. (something in common with bethenny). I
also read in another article that she was heavily involved in throwing charity events (jill's thing). They'll either end up being best buds, or hating
this new one with a passion for stealing some of their thunder. I'm betting on the latter.
snipped from an old bravo article: First up is Sonja Morgan, a single mother of a nine-year-old daughter who loves art and decorating. According to the network, she is "a fixture of New York City society, running in social circles that include European royalty and top-notch designers. Having jet-setted around the world and modeled in Paris and Milan, Morgan worked for multiple restaurants across the city as a consultant and manager and often brought in her famous friends to spice up these locales." |

Not that I don't want to see our NY ladies but what happened to the DC bitches?

Bethenny getting her own spin off isn't going to sit too well with Jill (or the others?) either.
This is my favorite housewives show. OC, Jersey, and Atlanta are just a tad too trashy for me. I prefer the NY bitchiness. As for DC? They have to get at least one politician's wife for this to work, preferably two. I just don't see that happening. |
