Sonja confirmed in an interview she was asked if would do it again. How in the HELL were Todd and Peih-Gee never even ASKED??? They were such better players AND characters than Amanda and James, who are both now back for their 3rd time. It just doesn't make sense to me... China was like Pearl Islands in that they could basically ask anybody and give them an edit to reflect it. That's why James's edit made little sense and why Amanda wasn't really UTR. Eliza even said in her thread that Peih-Gee was one of the other women. Jenn is sick so she couldnt have been on Fans vs. Favs and Katie has had some health issues as well. Eliza stated that early on but omitted her in the second list I used for the first post. Peih Gee dodged the question in her own thread here. It's still unclear because of all the contradicting info. Didn't know Katie had health issues, but that would explain the lack of an invite for her. This is why I don't get Jeff's little diss on why Fairplay wasn't asked back for S20 ("It's not Heroes vs. Quitters"), since he openly admitted that Janu was considered for S16. Also, Ian apparently (who I don't consider a quitter, but he pretty much did what Fairplay did, albeit much later on). Wait Yema was serious? Janu makes sense if they wanted all seasons repped I suppose. Tom and Ian said no. Jenn and apparently also Katie were ill. Steph and Bobby Jon couldn't reappear. She's still a worse choice than Coby, Gregg or Caryn. Shocked she was even mentioned.

I think Skupin was higher up on the totem pole though; he was the one cut for Rupert. Re: Janu, from Probst's S16 teleconference: Question: I talked to Coby from Palau. He said that he was on a list of potential candidates along with Janu and Terry. Is there any truth to that? JP: Well, at a certain point, yes. He was being considered, at a certain point. I can't say how far into the mix he made it. We liked him on the show. He was great and so was Janu. The truth is, you have 10 spots. You have a couple of certains. You're gonna have Ozzy. You're gonna have Yau-Man. You're gonna have James. And you're gonna have Fairplay. Then you go to people like Cirie. Then you want somebody like Parvati. You want the quote, unquote, hot girl who's gonna flirt and maybe surprise everybody. Then you need the game changers in Eliza and Ami, people that will betray at the drop of a hat. If Ami can get her way she will get that girls alliance again that she had in Vanuatu and try to run the game. That's what I meant earlier about trying to handpick the right ten. It wasn't that these were the 10 most favorite, it was 10 favorites. I know there were some people that weren't selected and I know their feelings are hurt. It doesn't mean they weren't worthy of being on the season. It just means that we picked 10 people for reasons that have nothing to do about you. My memory was a little faulty; I guess he didn't directly say they wanted Janu, but the first and bolded sentences say a lot. So not only did they give her a spot on the jury; they considered bringing her back a second time. Wow.

It reminded me of when season 11 came on and everyone in it kept talking about how Dan was the greatest player -_- But I suppose in that sense she deserved the spot.

She fits for Heroes Vs Villians, but her casting for Micronesia had little merit. She only got on because they needed to represent the three factions of Cook Islands (Aitu 4, Raro Brats, Jonathan).
