I bet Russell could beat someone like Clay or Lill or Twila head to head. They were really good goats, and their opponents could get away with a lot and still win. And he's WAY better a social player than Shane, Penner, or Coach, who couldn't ever hold an alliance together. But Natalie wasn't a good goat. If he can't handle her, he doesn't stand much chance against Parv and Sandra.

Once Christa was gone, she had NO true allies left and her "as long as it isn't me" strategy was actually very effective and look, she won. Just because she didn't hog the camera 95% of the time like that piece of shit Russhole, and didn't pull HII's out of her ass, doesn't mean she wasn't a good player.

Posts: 3029 (01/12/10 10:02 PM) Registered user More Recent Posts	Cirie is a much more aggressive player than Sandra (Sandra is when she feels in danger of being voted out, but otherwise she just lays UTR). Plus Cirie almost won TWICE in her past seasons. Obviously Sandra would be targeted much earlier if she came back for a 3rd time, now that she will (probably) be a 2 time winner. But even still the bottom line her style of gameplay is not aggressive.

Absolutely horrible. He deserved no votes, because he was just a bad player in like a very important aspect. He was really stupid at the biggest part. He like forgot. The jury vote has always been a part of Survivor, and they have always voted with whatever criteria they like. There has never been a rule that you have to find and use lots of hidden immunity idols, or play very aggressively to win. Natalie's strategy was totally legitimate. She won because of observance, she obvserved who she was playing with, and realized the best way for her to win. Russell pushed and shoved and acted like an asshole. In the end, Natalie's strategy got her the win, and Russell's did not. She understood the game much better than Russell did. There is no "deserving" in Survivor, because there isn't a "right" way to play the game. The most deserving person is the one who effectively uses their strategy to win. This has always been the case, it's not a new phenomenon.
