I didn't SAY gas had anything to do with it......I SAID that it dawned on me that he had DRIVEN to the gas station, therefore he had warmed up the car, hence gotten the electric juices rolling for the day.Next time just write "Bonestripper's right and I have a small pecker" it will take less time |

Maybe SirPaul just needs to go down on his mechanic and all will be fixed.

I took it in.
They did an electrical check THE BATTERY WAS FINE. so it's not the battery. i think u might be right (I would have to bring it back, for more diagnostic testing, it was late, and they were closing) |

I'm telling you: one to two gallons of anti-freeze placed directly in the gas tank could have cleared all of this up like weeks ago.

I'm going with zzunk on this one. Same thing was happening to me - they told me it was the solenoid, and when they took it apart to change it, discovered
it was just a loose connection. Total cost, under $20.

WEEM........errr, maybe Billy can help me
About 6 months ago my car/truck started have some problems starting sometimes, especially when it was wet out. It wanted to start but it was like it wasn't getting gas. So, we went through and changed everything and gave it a thorough tune up, new spark plugs, cap/ roter, wires, fuel filters, battery, everything. well, now its doing it again. Again mostly when its wet out but sometimes even if its dry it still takes a couple of turnovers to get going. And its mostly in the morning after not having run for a while. in looking online it seems it could be my fuel injectors are going. what do you think? |

Did you change out the battery cables too, or just the battery?

cables too. The battery is in great shape, and thank god it is because I keep having to turn it over and over and over. its like its not getting gas.

Did you put gas in the car? Sometimes they run out of gas.
