I think it was because he didn't want Jonathan Libby to be picked for a tribe and he knew Caryn would pick Willard over him but wasn't sure that Angie
would pick Willard. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

I never got the whole anti-Jonathan thing Coby had going on though. Sure he was cocky, but so were a lot of people on those first days.

Coby had an alliance with Caryn and someone else (I think it was Gregg?) to get rid of Jonahan - the editors showed this conversation - so Coby had an
alliance with Caryn and a separate (secret?) one with Angie, and I think he picked Caryn to keep Angie in the game - had he picked Angie, I'm pretty sure
Ibrehem would've picked Wanda (and Caryn, and ally of Coby's would've been ousted). Besides, Caryn would 100% have eliminated Jonathan, which
cannot be said about Angie.
Also, I'm not entirely sure whether his pact with Angie was known - but there was at least one witness of his alliance with Caryn, and picking Angie of Caryn would've done a lot more damage to his game than Caryn over Angie |

Angie mentionned at the reunion that Jonathan was very unfriendly against certain people (we know Coby was one of them - Caryn was most likely among them as
well), which alienated him from the majority of the tribe - seriously, how else could he have been skipped to the end over Ibrehem, Coby or James.

Actually Ulong was just fine - untill Jeff faked his ankle injury and send Ulong down that downward spiral. Koror still was the weaker tribe untill episode 4.
Anyways, where's Coby when you need him? |

Jeff Wilson will always have my eternal hatred for screwing over great characters like Steph, BJ, James and Angie. He single-handedly destroyed Ulong.
But then again, if BJ and Steph weren't screwed over in Palau, they wouldn't returned in Guatemala - which resulted in that season having the best cast ever. |

Agreed, but voting Angie wasn't that good of an idea either. In essence, Jolanda's ouster wasn't the killing blow to Ulong. Jeff's quit was.
