Australian Outback was an amazing season and had so many memorable characters and good moments. The same goes for Borneo. I'm afraid that's fact, so anyone who ranks them worst is clearly lying or hasn't even watched them.

Thailand was pretty crappy at the time, but looking back it's not the worst. It did have a few uncomfortable moments and a really predictable post-merge thanks to the twist, but it really wasn't all bad.

My least favourite has to be Cook Islands. Shitastic twists, shitastic new rules, too many invisible castaways and it just seemed dragged out because of the late merge and the early recap.

Totally agree with everything you just said.

If you hated the first two seasons, you're probably a n00b to Survivor. Seasons like Samoa, CI, Fiji and Palau are the ones that should be hated because they go against everything Survivor was originally about.


But the greater question is, why do we need a daily thread to discuss and compare seasons? This is getting way old.

After All Stars, there's no doubt that Survivor is not the same anymore.

I think Outback, pre-merge, ranks among the very best seasons. That being said, it does lose steam towards the end, particularly after Jerri is voted off. It was suspenseless and miserable. Thailand, on the other hand, never seemed interesting to me at all.
