The whole thing Leno left out is that after the NBC exec told him they wanted to move him to 11:35 and Conana back to 12:05 he asked if Conan would go for it.
Absolutely,was the reply so Leno shook on it.
Hey Jay, you couldn't pick up the phone and called the guy you might be bumping to see if he was OK with it first? If you cared about O'Brien like you claim why wouldn't you? |

NBC is going to have to internally recruit and/or pay people to be audience members for TTS when Leno returns Not necessarily because nobody will want to attend, but because there will be several groups who will want to attend...in order to sabotage the show - and NBC will have to be vigilant to prevent it from happening |

Anyway, NBC was black screen here for Conan's show. No kidding. I checked back a couple of times--nada, nothing, zilch. I caught a bit of Kimmel's rerun, a bit of Dave (missed the beginning dang) and kept clicking back to Conan on NBC--but black screen, no sound. Seriously, did that only happen here? |

Jay's story sounds as if it were crafted to fit the way to events have unrolled.
I don't buy it. I think there is way more to the story. I also think the JLS in prime time was definitely a way to submarine Conan. There are way too many people already in place who would have wanted Conan to fail and could have orchestrated this scenario. I also think there is a reason Zucker rhymes with..... Maybe we need Jesse Ventura to investgate the conspiracy at work here! Lastly, are we truly to believe Jay Leno has no representation or lawyers or anyone to protect his interests and that a handshake is good enough for him. I cry bull on that too. He would have never had so many guarantees in his contracts if he didn't have some savvy person looking out for him. Maybe Mavis is more talented than any of us know...she sure doesn't seem to spend time shopping and spending all of the money of clothes. |
