Truly a tear jerker moment if there ever was one!

I loved the end of the episode, when she was blowing out her candles, and Nate's friend said "make sure you get them all or your wish won't come
true." and Lux looked around and said "I think it already has."
Truly a tear jerker moment if there ever was one! |

The premiere of "Life Unexpected" pulled in a decent-sized audience by The CW's standards Monday, building on its lead-in and scoring the most
viewers at 9 p.m. on a Monday in a year.
At the top of the ratings, the story was much the same as usual. CBS led the night with 12.9 million viewers and a 7.7 rating/12 share in households. FOX (11 million, 6.4/9) came in second, a little bit ahead of ABC (10.2 million, 6.5/10), while NBC (5.1 million, 3.1/5) finished fourth. The CW trailed with 2.5 million viewers and a 1.6/2. |

Those are encouraging sampling #s. Let's hope it retains most of that (or dare I say it, improve)
I didn't find Liz that unlikeable but I can see why others would. It was actually kind of interesting cause I thought for sure when the daughter asked her if she ever thought about keeping her she was going to break down in tears and say how it was the hardest thing in her life/a huge mistake/etc. |

I'm even able to get over the biologically-inaccurate eye color.I have brown hair and brown eyes as does my husband. Our first born has blonde hair and blue eyes so the biologically-inaccurate eye color is actually moot. It all depends on how strong the genes are. |

"We can give her the one thing she never had. We can love her" -- says Appleby with quivering lip but stern resolve.
I liked the premiere. Lux <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 |

The child, if they get the recessive gene from both parents - will be blond/blue-eyed even if neither parent is. |

Mandie wrote:I think the main problem was her current bf comes accross as the nicest guy in the world, so you feel bad for him. As for Cate and Nate, from what you get during the show is they hardly ever talked in High School it was just a one night stand. It seems like Cate is hung up on a relationship that never even existed. Basically the show somehow has to turn Jake into a bad guy to get the audience on the side of Cate hooking up with Nate. |

Meh her current is pretty much a needy bitch so far. That will get old after a while. Besides it doesnt even seem like baze is all that into her.
The funniest part about this though was her father talked about aborting her and she got madder at her mom for giving her up. |

I don't understand. These people are not rich or models. Why do we care about their lives? I hope Dawn hasn't lost her hitmaker's touch!

Maybe they're vampires. Undercover vampires.

What if the twist turns out to be that she isnt really their daughter? =O

I was thinking the same thing Miles Edgeworth.
I guess a DNA test was not needed so down the road they can find out that they are not her "real" parents. Then they'll love her anyway all the while looking for their real child which will turn out to be a boy and fall in love with Lux. |
