I love Anderson Cooper, and he is now reporting that the woman who they just pulled out alive after 7 days will die unless she gets medical treatment, and they can't find any.

(Like that little girl, rescued, but then died because there was no adequate medical care.)

He just said they think there are more alive in that same building.

Why are people risking their lives (amid constant after shocks) to save these people when they just die after rescue because there is no place with supplies, facilities, or doctors to treat them? What a mess.

The live coverage just showed dogs going nuts at the same site, so there probably ARE more alive down there. Those rescue people are risking their lives each minute due to constant and sometimes HUGE (5.8 and above) aftershocks, just to pull people out so they can die anyway.

This is pitiful. CNN just reported more USA search and rescue teams still on "standby" in the USA. What good do they think these people will do 8 or more days after the fact.

There is no electricity after major quakes, especially in areas without strong building codes. They KNOW they need fuel, medical supplies, generators, rescue teams, etc. after these events. What the hell is the hold up? Why can small countries get effective hospitals going, but the UN and USA can't?

Anderson has my respect for sticking this out. Those aftershocks wear on you, the death and devastation and smell, and helplessness even more. Those broadcasting MD's who just started pitching in do too. This is such a mess.
