Never was a fan, but I respected the fact she kept on fighting her illness, and somehow never seemed to stop smiling. I respect her a lot, and it's
really sorry it had to end like that way and at that time. It's just sad |

If you were a fan or not, this is still possibly on of the worst days for Survivor. And also, one of the few castaways that nobody can dislike wound up being
the first to go.

They better dedicate an episode to her at the very least.
Jenn Lyon was not a favorite of mine when I first watched Palau, but I found no reason to dislike her either. In a game like Survivor, it's rare to find a person that doesn't have some extremely annoying part to their personality. Jenn never appeared bitchy, annoying or mean to anyone. As time has gone by, it has been inspiring to read about Jenn's calm confidence towards fighting such a deadly disease. Hearing stories from great friends like Coby speaks volumes about Jenn's character and shows what a loss the world has suffered. Though she isn't physically a part of this world anymore, she will forever live on in Survivor lore. Thank you Jenn for everything and I hope you rest in peace. |
