When I remember a Survivor castaway, I often remember them as a character even my absolute favos usually get the "what a great character" treatment. In fact, few Survivors actually cross that line of "what a great person!" and Jenn Lyon was one of the few who did just that for me.

It takes that special something for me to remember a Survivor and smile, it takes that special something for me to recall a Survivor and think "What a great person!!!!", it takes that special something for me to remember a Survivor and think "I wish I knew them" and it's even more special when it isn't just an edit but a feeling you have that this is someone whose presence in your life would simply make it better. Jenn Lyon was something special. I knew when I was first introduced to Jenn that she would be someone I wished was in my life and not on my favo tv show for a season.

I knew right away that her presence on Survivor would be memorable and I wasn't wrong. Her edit was bad but it never stopped me from seeing what kind of a person she was and that makes her a legend. We need more Survivors like Jenn Lyon. The kind of Survivor who every time you see them, you smile. She didn't need to say a word to bring the <3 because her smile said it all. I watched Survivor Palau today and feared it would be a sad thing and that what Jenn gave me (a smile) would be permanently removed by the sad news of her death but thankfully, Jenn still made me smile and that is truly special just like Jenn.
