He was one of the other 7 people who made it to Hollywood on the first day. Was that Chris auditioning again because his debut album sucked?
ETA: So it's Kris, not Chris. There are a lot of things I don't remember about him.

Yeah, he does look like Kris Allen. Unfortunately, the very last thing that the judges will want this year is another Kris Allen. His horrible CD sales have
cost anyone with ownership points in the show (including Simon) enormous amounts of money and prestige. It's supposed to be the search for a superstar, not
the search for a singer with a nice voice who can sell 225,000 CDs. The auditions were held before Kris' CD came out; the Hollywood rounds are done much
later. We will probably see a huge change in what they are most looking for, with all the coffeehouse type singers dumped ASAP.
Nobody who reminds them of Kris Allen will get picked for the semis. It's almost as unlikely as a seriously overweight white woman or a really talented black guy getting picked. |
