thanks :) she's frolicking with all the other pups that died in their persons porches lol
back to PEI... you can see everything the province has to offer in about one day. The celebrity wax museum is particularly fun.. assuming they put the figures there with the expectation that it was a guessing game, cause not one of them looks like any celeb. like madam Tussauds retarded cousin. |

yep. Banff & Calgary in '93 (I am sure Calgary has really grown since then), Vancouver when I was 10, then passed thru again in '99 on the way to
Victoria. Haven't seen anything between Windsor and Calgary, though.

I'd much rather live here than in Dog River Omg! How's Brent and the gang at Corner Gas? What's wrong with Calgary? Where to start...... -No culture except for the redneck Stampede. -All about money and gas and nothing else. -It's completely conservative in both politics and in social every day life. -The weather sucks. Chinooks are not good for the garden. Minus 30 below with a windchill in the winter and plus 30 in the summer. Absolutely no spring or fall. (This is the case in all of Alberta) -The people are a wee bit stuck up. -The traffic is fucking brutal after a snowstorm. -The traffic is fucking brutal in the south, period. -In the summer, everything is brown and in the winter... everything is brown. -Not a lot of trees. -Landlocked. (Along with the rest of Alberta) -Little diversity. -Too many mega houses on small lots. That's just off the top of my head. |

and it's a dirty, concrete jungle. The "nightlife" sucks, if you can actually find it.
Edmonton is in every way superior. Beautiful, green, better shopping, okay so traffic still sucks, culture and history that does NOT involve buffalo, and of course... Pie. Yes, I'm a proud Albertan. I was born in Saskatchewan, raised until high school in BC, married and raised my family in Alberta. I love it here. I'm all about the Quebec seething hate. Seriously, not a single redeeming factor about that whole shithole. |

I'm born and raised from Edmonton too. I also prefer it to Calgary but I don't like Alberta as a whole. I much prefer BC.

BC >> Alberta
Edmonton is an outstandingly average place to live. But I don't see what the hell is so bad about the traffic. Compared to Toronto or Montreal, it's paradise.
