Though I'm sure there will be 100 new people, DEFINETLY not using spoilers discussing winner picks, and getting them right.

It'd be nice if the others who are spoiled did the same. Take it from me, it's impossible to be completely objective if you know what's going to happen...you view the entire season through that lens. You can make observations about the edits, but making winner picks if you're spoiled doesn't seem right to me.

What do we have to look forward to this season ? A fully spoiled bootlist. A known F3. Oh, oh. Spoilers abounded in LTS and Clubs and Sucks proper. Double oh, oh. The same old guidelines. Some discussion of much-needed changes to these guidelines. ZERO movement towards implementing these changes. Why not ? Well, flf has not logged on to Sucks since Dec 21. Warrior has not logged on to Sucks since Dec 17. OTH has not posted since Dec 9. Our leaders are AWOL. We haven't even completed some of Survivor Samoa's close calls. We have incomplete half-assed ratings for the last few episodes of this season. Therefore, we have some inaccurate half-assed final ratings for this season. Yuck !

I was in India trying to not find out who won s19 until I got back and got to watch the last two episodes. I have though seen a reference in Sucks general about a character who does well. I hate spoiled seasons. I move to move to a postmodern form of edgic. Use logic. Use editing. Use past principles as starting points. If you like to rate players, rate players. But I for one am moving away from the dogmatic and into the philosophical. I do think edgic's concept was conceptually quite spot on (in practice always a sociological challenge of course) in the form that the show took. But I think the show has genuinely changed it's casting and hence storytelling values to be superstar based. Or maybe this is just unique...but Coach, Russel, and whoever is next become the primary centerpieces for the season rather than the general humanity and how a winner emerged. The Amazing Race is starting to do something similar (re)casting 15 minutes of fame people. It's reality TV's form of entropy at work. That said, Survivor will still make for great TV, and would no doubt be one of the most fascinating and challenging games to play in real life. Just not as easy to apply data analysis and editing critique to pick a winner out of a data set.

Same here, but he was the only viable edgic pick last year. Most spoiled seasons aren't like Samoa, where the final three should all be disqualified by edgic and common sense.

I can't even make a new chart because ratings still aren't even fully decided yet lol. Can someone just solve all the close calls? I'd do it but I know sometimes my opinions aren't the norm and I'm not one of the people that decides on close calls anyway. As soon as those are decided, I can make a complete chart for the season.

If she had been something besides INV/UTR1 then I'd think her N would be quite questionable. I'm surprised Monica isn't lower than John, I guess it was from her ridiculous amount of P votes in the last episode. Monica just seemed like the UTRN type up until late. When I try to decide on final ratings I compare the person in question to who they would potentially have the same rating as them. So I compared Monica to Erik, Ashley, Liz, Dave, Jaison, Mick, and Laura (John too I guess although I think he should be CP) Should Monica be neutral like Ashley, Erik, Liz, Dave, Jaison, and Mick? or N like Laura (could be N, should be N imo)?
