casttv.com has the episode up now. It was another good episode, as usual. I love this show so much! Only 3 more episodes, right? Someone needs to pick it up
and give us more episodes.

I dont think I can watch this show anymore. I am too involved with the characters. I was bawling when Vince was asking his mom why she wouldn't stop using.
The actress playing Becky was great in this episode especially in that second scene with Connie Britton. I am over the habitat guy, but I did lol over the
discussion over football being played in the rain.

I'm pissed at that bitch Becky! She was more worried about including Tim than Luke and he is the father! I understand its a difficult situation but Luke
deserved to know she had an appt scheduled and was going that route. Not just a "I took care of it" afterward.
Love that Virgil is getting more involved with the kids. Sad for Vince. Glad Riggins Riggs is legally back online. |

Another great episode. LOL over Tammy taking Coach to get his car because he was too drunk to drive home after a night out w/ Virgil... her remarks to him were
right on point! I too laughed over Habitat boy trying to talk football w/ Coach... yes son, they do play in the rain!! So sad to see Vince go back to the
gang... how are they going to get him out of that... also, where is he going to live now that his mom is in rehab? Maybe Buddy could take him in and pay back
the gangsters!! BTW, no Buddy this week
As a parent of a high school son (freshman) I don't know how I would have acted if I was Luke's parents. I also loved the way Becky asked Tammy what she would do if her daughter was in this situation.... this is why the show is so amazing... really makes me stop & think about my own children (thankfully daughter is still in elementary school. The previews for next week don't look so good for Tammy....sheesh, how many times has she been in front of the school board?? |

It finally happened!!! I like this show! After 3 tries over the past 3 years, I just skipped the damn pilot (which I still hate) and am now tearing through the series on Netflix streaming. I knew I was missing something great. See you all in probably a month.

I don't want to read because I haven't seen it yet, but I do need to know if Lila is still on the show and, if so, is she still in need of the cock?

I'm really enjoying the back stories this season, but let's get back to some football too. East Dillon vs Dillon - last show of the season?

Two questions:
1. So is the 'Mrs. Coach in trouble with the school board' storyline a way to force Tammy to resign as principal, but they'll have to find another job for her -- at East Dillon? She's the only character left over there, so I assume they'll have to get her to move schools, too. 2. The first three seasons each covered one year. Have they finally figured out that they can stretch out high school by having each season be a semester or somesuch? I like the way "Greek" handled that problem. |

Beefcake wrote:I hadn't really thought of that but I hope not. I was too busy being annoyed that they felt like they had to do the teen pregnancy angle. I was happy that they hadn't done this "predictable" storyline yet but I guess if you are doing a drama about teenagers, you can't realistically leave out the possibility of an accidental pregnancy. In fairness, I have to admit that the actress that plays Becky has really done a good job with it. I was impressed with her acting chops in this episode and I'm liking her character more and more. Also, they have kind of opened up the JD storyline a little bit with the revelation that his parents are splitting up so I don't think we're done with Tammy's school yet. |

OK, that's fair. But each previous season covered a full football season and then the next season started in the following Fall. I haven't been counting games, but it doesn't look like they'll even come close to finishing the season in two more episodes.

The football side has been short changed this season for the most part. It seems like it's used more as a way to do some character development rather than just for the sake of the game. It feels like we've seen more practices than games. I think we've only seen maybe 3 actual games, if that. The last game was just basically a pick up game at the park. Now that Coach is developing a team that no one expects much from, the constant worry that his job is in jeopardy if the team loses a game is gone.
I would like to think that Tim is out of danger of ending up in legal trouble since they decided to stop the chop shop but I have a lingering fear that that was too easy of a resolution. The surprising thing about this show for me is how time after time I start to feel disappointed by the start of a new storyline only to then end up finding it compelling and engrossing because of the level of acting talent. |

Thank you so much!
This show is so real and pulls out all the stops. It so dramatic and I love it! Buddy finally taking off the ring. So glad Luke didnt get hurt more than he already is. Love the Spanish radio! Calvin... you should stayed on the football team and out of trouble! Happy that Vince's Mom is hanging in there. Luke's Mom is real hurt but that doesn't make it ok to be a bitch. Ditto Julie. Matt took a long time to call but he called. Geez... but I was pissed at him too. Nice to see him again! Does this mean there is no more Becks and Riggins? (THANK GOD!!) Episode 12 preview: Looks like trouble ahead for everyone....

Luke's mom is a twunt, but we don't know what Becky said to her. Maybe she didn't want to admit wanting an abortion herself, so she let psycho mom believe she was advised to do it. But trying to get someone fired is outrageous. I loved Luke telling her to cut the crusade and stop blaming Tammi. Luke is a good kid. Probably my fave new character. Well, him and Vince.
Sorry, but I still don't like Becky. She's an annoying twit. And her mom is a twit too. They were fully dressed, yet she immediately launches into a tirade, accusing Riggins of fucking her daughter. And she said some unnecessarily harsh things to Riggins. She is trailer trash, through and through. Too bad Calvin got killed, but he chose his path. Vince needs to extricate himself from that life, but how can he do that with the rehab/mom situation? One thing I didn't understand was Coach not knowing that the hearing was that day or calling to ask her about it. He seemed surprised when he got home. Weird. And I have to disagree with whoever said that Jules should have let Matt off the hook b/c he finally called. It had apparently been a while, with no contact, and she should just be happy to hear from him? I don't fucking think so. I think the situation was handled pretty realistically. Any girlfriend would be furious at being treated that way by someone they were with for four years. Man, I love this show. Hope Tammi gives them all hell next week. |
