If you watch the extended judging, NinaGarcia! says that Ping's design looked really good actually in the picture on the dress form on her judging card.
Maybe that's why she stayed?

I'll co-sign on the Amy robbage. I didn't like Jay's dress at all, and when the six were called and he was there, I wasn't sure which one
between him and Jesus would be top and which would be bottom... Speaking of Jesus, weren't all of the brown portions of the garment the burlap sack? If so,
I'd say that his use of the burlap was proportionally equal to Mila's, which read as a ton of silver ribbon accentuating some burlap. Look at the two
garments and squint a little - Jesus' looks 1/2 brown and 1/2 green; Mila's looks 1/2 silver and 1/2 gray. And Mila nearly WON... Ping really should
have been auffed, but from the moment that Pamela said that she was INTENTIONALLY trying to make the dress look like worn denim, I knew she was a goner. Who in
their right mind would send a client to an industry event in a denim [looking] dress?!

Mila's was my favorite by a mile. Liked Amy's and though it was interesting in the bottom half; but Mila's was by far the most interesting concept, and not nearly as derivative as either the winner or Amy.

Yeah, Ping's a visionary. If your vision is to be a gynecologist. That she wasn't eliminated for that outfit that was horrific in every way is ridiculous. I say unwearable trumps making your butt look big every time.
And while Mila's dress was really nice, I take points off that what made it really interesting was the non-potato-sack additions. The dresses that were really nice, but were pure potato-sack deserved the win more. |

Total agreeance. I'm down for maybe 1 or 2 "weird" challenges, but it's always the conventional go to Mood and get fabric challenges that are the best. Too many of the fucking retarded challenges to be bearable. Why has nobody mentioned the fact that ANNA made 2 exact same dresses 2 weeks in a row? She's giving me awful one-note Althea/Carol Hannah/Irina vibe, and in a season full of awesome innovative designers, it's totally unacceptable I'm totally calling her out on this bullshit.
