Take Adrian out, and it could be the worst to ever take a major league field NL WC Mets Dodgers Cubs ALDS Yanks 3 White Sox 1 Bo Sox 3 Ms 2 ALCS Yanks 4 Bo Sox 2 NLDS Phils 4 Giants 2 Cards 4 Mets 1 NLCS Cards 4 Phils 3 WS Yanks 4 Cards 2 The Nationals are looking like a better and better team. Depending on Strasburg, they could find themselves finishing 3rd or 4th in the division. As always, there are a lot of X factors. Get another front rotation starter on the Mets, and they could become a favorite. Also, get like 1 more big bat on the Giants, and they could be unstoppable. The Cards have a nice pitching staff as of now, but Chris Carpenter and Brad penny are huge injury risks, and if they go down, they're looking at a really bad rotation.Similarly, if Alfonso Soriano and Geovany Soto, who shed 38 pounds since we last saw him can rebound from abysmal 2009s, The Cubs and Cards could be neck and neck. Then again, you never no. Maybe the Padres or Blue Jays will surprise us all. OK, I wont go that far. |

Despite the career change, Desme could still be a Cardinal.

But first he'd have to serve his apprenticeship as a Padre. His final team would have to be the Angels.

Ozzie Guillen is delusional again. Plus Peavy in the rotation followed by Buehrle, Danks, Floyd and Garcia. Lotta ifs but if everything goes right this could be a really good team. |

ColbyRulesAll wrote:They diefintely will have one of the best pitching staffs in the game, rotation and pen,but their offense is very iffy. They will need resurgence from Andruw Jones, Carlos Quentin, and Alex Rios, and a repeat performance from Gordon Beckham. There are a lot of ?s in the offense. Their only competiton should be the Twins, but once the playoffs, some, their rotation is right up there with Boston and the Yankees. |

Dontrelle Willis told Drew Sharp of the Detroit Free Press that he has suffered from a "serious lack of confidence."How many diagnosis are they going to give this guy before they just admit that he sucks? |

Yid's actually giving the Nats some credit? I can't wrap my mind around this...
With the Marlins signing Josh Johnson through 2013, can we just fold the Pirates/Orioles? |

Dawson's being forced to go into the hall as an EXPO. Grrrr.
Why would the MLB force a guy to go into the hall of fame wearing a cap for a defunct franchise? |

Because he played 11 seasons in Montreal and only 6 in Chicago?

What a dick move by the hall. Especially since he wanted to go in as a cub.
