35. Halloween 2
The first remake was great so I came into this thinking it would be just as good. But I was wrong. It was not scary at all and was
incredibly predictable. And they didn't even play the fucking Halloween theme song! How can you have a Halloween movie and not play the theme song? And
then there was this wierd story arc where the main girl like saw her mom and a horse or something which was wierd and made no sense to me (again, maybe it just
went over my head |

The only problem with Funny People was it's length...it could have been 30 minutes shorter and be better in my eyes.

34. Observe and Report
I just didn't find it that funny... which was the only thing the movie was going for. I loved everyone in it, especially Anna
Faris. But it was another movie that just didn't work for me. I think it had some potential but just didn't really come together.

33. Paranormal Activity
I was entertained enough by it but it wasn't NEARLY as scary as people were trying to make it seem. I mean oh wow the door moved,
TERRIFYING! The only truly creepy part of the movie was when the girl got dragged out of bed. I did enjoy how they made it in the home-made movie point of
view... but it was just predictable and I didn't particularly find the characters that enjoyable anyway. And I wasn't scared as much as I was hoping to
be... I think I'm jaded when it comes to horror movies. But it was fun enough to go to, but just not that memorable or something I would want to see again.

32. Knowing
This movie wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be and for the most part I was entertained. I do love disaster movies, but
still the movie wasn't as good as it could have been and the acting was something terrible. The story was also VERY bizarre and hard to follow but actually
had a very interesting twist at the end.

Yay for most of the ones you ranked low being the ones I didn't bother to see.
Knowing and Adventureland both sucked though, you're right about those. I don't get the critical acclaim for either one. |

I didn't know either were critically acclaimed.
I think I heard like 2 words about Adventureland since it's been out. I'm not even sure why I went to see it. |

Romber Rulz wrote:Ebert randomly loved Knowing and considered it one of the best movies of the year, but that opinion was kinda unpopular, for good reason. Adventureland was appreciated by the critics but never got much promotion, probably because everyone realized it was boring and impossible to make a dime off of. I Love You, Man was surprisingly good. I expected it to be pretty bad, but they totally parodied romcom's in a great way and it ended up being a pretty funny film. I liked it. |

30. Bride Wars
What can I say? Sometimes I love little campy movies like these. It didn't try too hard and I really enjoy Kate Hudson...
she's as cute as can be. I was entertained the whole way through.

29. Zombieland This is probably one of the big upsets of the list so far. I liked it fine enough and I love watching Woody Harrelson in anything he does but I didn't LOVE this movie like everyone else seemed to. The whole zombie movie spoof idea is already so cliche anyway and it didn't exactly bring anything new or original to the genre. The part at the house with whatshisface also seemed unecessary and didn't really add anything to the movie and it was like 1/3rd of the movie. Again, 1 time seeing this will due. |

27. Julie and Julia It was a fine movie, but it is WAY overrated. I of course love Streep and Adams and all of the cooking parts were cute and entertaining... but the relationship crap detracted from the movie and was tedious. Nothing about it was oscar worthy, IMO. |

You were entertained by Last House?!?? It was like they took every revenge/horror movie cliche and packed them into an hour and a half. AWFUL I love Anna Faris as well but O&R wasn't so amazing, unfortunately. There were some HILARIOUS parts, tho. It's a great high movie. Paranormal was a fun experience but nothing epic AT ALL. I saw it in ATL on the first Saturday night it went wide so the theater was packed and that was hilarious. Great crowd. Aw, I liked Zombieland. I'm not as big a fan of the Bill Murray cameo as everyone else, though. I despise Nic Cage and would never watch anything with him in it, but some random old lady was trying to get me to see it while I was eating at Arby's. She approached me and began talking about how good and Christian it is and stuffses. |

Yeah, the Bill Murray thing was the part I was talking about that was stupid and unecessary... and pointless.
Also, YAY a comment! |
