I completely forgot but what happened to that neighbor who Margene used to be friends with? At least then she had the company of someone who she didn't find herself strangely attracted to.

LOL at Bill being such a cheapskate in DC. He told Nikki not to take a taxi because it was too expensive and he gave her his Metro card. Also, he tipped the bellhop with change and the bellhop stared at it in his hand as the door was closed in his face.

Carboys Desire wrote:The Firearms Control Regulations Act of 1975 was passed by the District of Columbia city council on September 24, 1976.[1] On June 26, 2008, in the historic case of District of Columbia v. Heller, the Supreme Court of the United States determined that the ban and trigger lock provision violate the Second Amendment. The law banned residents from owning handguns, automatic firearms, and high-capacity semi-automatic firearms, as well as prohibited possession of unregistered firearms. Exceptions to the ban were allowed for police officers and guns registered before 1976. The law also required firearms kept in the home to be "unloaded, disassembled, or bound by a trigger lock or similar device"[2], thus amounting to a prohibition on the use of firearms for self-defense in the home.[3] Voting 250 for and 171 against, the House of Representatives on Sept. 29 passed The District of Columbia Personal Protection Act (HR 3193) repealing the District of Columbia's gun control laws. Now awaiting Senate action, the measure would legalize the possession of handguns, semi-automatic assault weapons and armor-piercing bullets in the federal city. The bill would repeal registration requirements for firearms and ammunition, remove criminal penalties for possessing unregistered weapons and allow residents to have loaded firearms at home. |

I don't understand why people think age makes a difference. I mean, he's probably at least 18 since I assume he's not in high school. He could be 19, or 20. That is still a child!!! Margene can't be more than 30 but still...gross!

I just wanted to know. It is gross because Ben's father in the father of her child. That doesn't change the fact that the actors looked good together.

This episode more than ever reinforced my desire to see everything blow up spectacularly in Bill's face so the wives just finally leave him. He needs to be knocked down a few pegs.It can't be said enough! Good lord, I hate that asshole Bill so much. Hes such a greedy, arrogant prick. First Nikki got involved with another man, and now Margene. And that Indian guy is definitely crushing on Barb. Ill laugh if all three of his wives step out on him. I thought Margene was 23?Yeah Margene is young. I think her/Ben are like 5 years apart, at most. Not that age is a big difference when it comes to Polygamy, but yeah. |

Anyone else curious about why Sissy Spacek's character did such a complete turn-around the moment she heard Bill had just opened a casino? His other accomplishments didn't seem very interesting to her but that one suddenly made her give up her grudge against him. She was definitely hitting on him by the end with her "buy me a drink in Utah" plea. Is it just that being a casino owner makes him a high roller and suddenly attractive to her - or is there some other agenda, perhaps political/legislative, in play here? |

I'm pretty sure Albie intends to use that picture for blackmail. Kind of a scorched earth thing.

Remember when Barb was up for mother of the year and the committee fond her out? There's more
people that know of Bill's polygamy. He's a fool to think he could hide it. |

I don't want the politics storyline to mess up Margene's business success... sadly I see it coming from a mile away.

I agree that theyre not writing this politics storyline in a realistic fashion, but didn't Bill say that if he wins, he plans to tell the world about him and his three wives?
