Oh, Conan's on reruns this week? LAZY CONAN! Get your Tonight-Show-Hosting-Ass back in that beautiful studio NBC built for you! You need to get used to it there, cuz you'll probably be using it for a good 20 years or so. Amirite, people??? Silly Conan and his vacations.

Yeah, real funny.
Several weeks out of the country, and during that time, you didn't check this board? Not once? For real? There are posters here with such patience and control? Shocking! |

Why would I lie about it?
I'm HURT! PS: So, when does Conan return from reruns? If this vacation lasts until after the Olympics, I'm gonna be upset! But, don't you worry - I'll be sitting right in front of my TV at 11:35pm that first Monday in March filled to the top with SO MUCH JOY for his return, I might even burst into t.ears because I'll be so damn HAPPY! <333 |

Well, it seems no one here wants to tell you what happened during the past 3 weeks, so I will.
Conan decided to move to ABC that asked him to replace Jimmy Kimmel. So, Jay Leno will be back as the host of The Tonight Show after the Olympics. Conan got $55 milion in this deal, by the way. Oh, and through some shocking scandal, it was revealed that Conan is a long lost son of David Letterman. |

O.M.G. Before my three-weeks out of the country, I was in the hospital for 3 weeks. I missed the Survivor Finale. RUSSELL DIDN"T WIN?!?!?!?!?

Although the terms of Conan’s separartion agreement with NBC called for Conaco to operate out of NBC through the current development season, the exit agreement did not require NBC to pick-up anything pitched out of O’Brien’s production company according to Nikki Finke. |

Those kind of quips might fly over there in Yerp, son, but this is America! And we demand higher quality snark! USA! USA! USA! |

I hear NBC has turned down Conan's pilot for a Jay Leno produced show about an ex-Supreme Court Justice who leaves the court to take two jobs. He'll write headlines at a small town newspaper and dispense jaywalking tickets at the village court.
That show's more relatable to middle america. |

They're both, in addition to having that wacky sense of humor, really smart, literate people. Maybe it was being based in New York, but I enjoyed the type of guests they both had on their show -- not the Tonight Show brand of Hollywood air-headed bullshit. I think that was part of the problem with Conan at the 11:30 timeslot. He was up against Dave, so it was more a choice between two like programs. Where with Leno's superficial type of show -- well, it appealed to a different viewership. I agree with most of this. I'm a diehard Ferguson viewer, but was torn between Dave (fan since 1982) and Conan these past 7 months. I loved the last show (except for will farrell). Free Bird was awesome. :) |

It seems as if NBC is trying to erase Conan O'Brien from our collective memories (per Gawker, pic heavy):

Conan has officially joined twitter @conanobrien. Since his first (and so far only) tweet about 12 hours ago, he now has over 226,000 followers! His tweet?
Today I interviewed a squirrel in my backyard and then threw to commercial. Somebody help me. Also according to http://www.thewrap.com/ind-column/cocos-twitter-14592 Conan is planning a tour along with some sort of internet "presence". EEK! |

He'll probably throw to live tweets shown on a screen at the venues prior to his entrance on stage. Same thing Eddie Izzard, the Executive Trans-gender comedian has been doing on his tour.

lol @ Conan's bio: "I had a show. Then I had a different show. Now I have a Twitter account."
And lol @ the monkey on his back.
